@@Bsprecksfishing have u found any of the bigger shrimp yet? Past few seasons, here in CT side of LIS we've caught some. I believe theyre European brown shrimp. Not HUGE but bigger than the biggest grass shrimp.

With the herring, did you never think of trying the bait stick pole. I have been using one for 10 years. 2 good things are the hooks go in the tube, no hooking the bed rug in my truck and no hooking myself on windy days lol. 2 bad things the hooks in the tube do not dry and rust out faster, its hard to use flashers .
