Fishing UK River Wye day ticket - coarse fishing Winter floodwater silent angling Rectory Fishery

Day ticket fishing the river Wye via the Fishing Passport on the world famous Rectory Pool. With the river level high ( 1.14m falling water temps 9 degrees ) with winter floodwater options were limited to a swimfeeder and traditional baits of mashed bread and lobworm.
This is a silent fishing video so as to enjoy the essence of angling with birdsong and natures ambience.

Hi Harry, It's just been opened up to coarse fishing and I didn't really do it justice due to the high water but I feel it has got potential. I might pay it another visit with the fly rod in late spring to get a different perspective in preparation for this winter. Thank you as always for your continued support.

Hi, Good luck for your piking session. It was a welcomed fish indeed as I was beginning to think Id be returning the following day. Its been a tough old season for river Pike and not just from a fishing point of view. There's been report of big pike stranded in the fields so I hate think how many that would translate to when the whole country has practically been under water this winter. I think Im going to continue my piking up on the mountain lake until I start to see them spawning. Thank you as always for your support

Hi there, that’s a lovely part of Wales I’ve fished on the Groe parc stretch at Builth a few times and caught a very good stamp of chub .where were you fishing and where do you get the tickets please.great fish and a nice video without a load of meaningless chatter.👍
