*I just got back from my third backpacking trip with this rod, and all I can say is that I love it!! The quality and the action on this rod is fantastic and I've already bought two more for my friends, (since I'm kind of a rod snob, and I've been fishing for over 20 years) it's perfect for trout and smaller fish. Yet it feels sturdy enough to handle bigger fish up to the 10-20 lb range. I would definitely recommend this rod for anyone looking to have a portable, great action rod.*

It is hard to cast with the handle spinning when i do. I would get an open face reel next time.

@@Zuntic i have the extreem pen rod with spining reel but its a lot easy to break because made from plastic not full iron. I prefer the pen rod with mini bait casting reel like in your videos cause much durable even if you have bigger fish. Well thats my opinion . the down side just its hard to make long cast with this type of reel
