I make my spears out of bamboo and a big nail. Smaller lighter and they float.

Homemade improvised weapons and tools have always been my bag and what I do. You would be amazed to know how much stuff you can make out of ordinary junk you find laying around. Did you know you can throw circular saw and table saw blades and they stick pretty good? The same for Stanley utility knife blades. We've made all kinds of stuff over the years. I even made a .22LR firearm in machine shop class when I was in high school one piece at a time. Teacher comes up and says "what are we making today Mr. Doe (my last name)?" "Never mind he says and he walks away after he realized it wasn't any zip gun and was professional in design and workmanship! Haha That red oak nightstick in one of my vids I made that in 10th grade high school advanced wood shop and still have it today. That teacher realized I was a lost cause and left me alone and to it as well. Lol You know I am older....they would have expelled you for both today within the last 30+ or so years....😄

Indeed.....I'm always slapping stuff together too. Lol contrary to popular belief I just don't have the money to be buying new stuff all the time.

I have a hard time finding carp in my lake. I know they're in there. I catch them with a rod and reel. I just don't see many shallow.

I wonder if a polarized sunglass lens in front of the camera would actually work. Edit. Ebay sells a clip on lens for your phone camera for like 15 bucks.

a guy who goes bow fishing told me to shoot a fish, you have to aim like it too low to hit the fish, and then aim a little lower than that😅 congrats on your catch👍

I've thought about it, never made any move in that direction other than pondering it a little. I'll have to look into the finer details of how those things work.

@@TheWaterSwatters they are pretty cool most people use about a 6 ft dart but 10ft darts are better for fishing. Make them out of river cane if you can get ahold of some
