Fishing with BIG BAIT for the WIN! But it wasn't easy

In this fishing video I went to a large river and threw some huge baits. The day started off frustrating with runs and runs but no hook ups and turtles eating all my bait. But in the end I landed 2 nice alligator gars. Big baits for the win!

I just came over from wild life channel. I have another channel besides this one I'm using that is quite a bit bigger. I'll give you a shout out on my next video. I'm in Southern Ohio i live catfishing but haven't caught anything bigger than 41.5 pounds so far. I hope to see ya catch more brother, God bless...

Use a circle bigger hook

I've used circle hooks in the past and find that my hook up ration drops dramatically. I prefer to use J hooks, and set while the fish is running to lessen the chance of gut hooking them since I catch and release

I think you waited too long to set the hook and that's why they stole your baits. What do you think?

May I give you a suggestion? Leave the music out while you're fishing, especially while you are fighting a fish. We would rather hear you groaning, the line from your reel peeling, and the birds and crickets chirping than hear that annoying music. I think the rock music just takes away from the atmosphere and the experience of fishing than add anything of value for the video. Just my opinion and a suggestion, I hope you don't take it the wrong way. I want to see you succeed big time since your videos are pretty good and you're based in the city where I grew up!
