Hello everyone in this video I go through everything you need to know in order to catch carp! I have tips which will definitely help you out next time you go catch carp. When I go carp fishing I use these techniques which almost always makes me land a fish whether its a Carp, Redfin or Eel.

Some great tips. I gotta say, I prefer bread over corn or worms. I use worms only rarely as too many natives take on worms, and corn I use, but prefer bread. Usually put out a corn burley like you did, but then cast a bread bait into it. I find I get more consistently bigger fish with bread, probably because of the size of the bait.

A normal running sinker rig works just as good in opinion. In the UK they use such complicated setups lol. Sometimes I just tie on a hook. Thanks for the support man good luck!

I did some digging around and there are carp near Heidelberg. The Yarra river around you has carp, roach, goldfish, eels, redfin, macquarie perch and Murray cod. Plenty river also has carp and good size Redfin aswell. Also try out Darebin creek it also has carp. Good Luck!

@@rodizzle2063 Having been an urban angler for many years, the looks never stop, nor the advice that you'll never catch anything in there. I have been told there are no fish in the lake while reeling in a fish on several occasions. I was reeling in a fish a while back, a decent carp, and someone asked - "Have you caught something?" My reply - "No, just taking my goldfish for a walk." as the drag screamed on another run... Don't let the doubters and the piss takers worry you. Go down, watch for signs of fish activity, whether that is rise forms, puffs of mud, the fish themselves, there are many signs of fish in an area. Fish for what you want to fish for. Do not let people tell you carp, or catfish, or even eels are rubbish fish, it is about you, not them. Carp are awesome fun. I could catch natives a lot more than I do if I actually targeted them. I choose to catch carp as my go to fish for a reason, they are awesome fighters!

Yo what I don’t understand is why some of youse kill them if u enjoy catching them , most natives wouldnt survive in most of the melb waters anyways bc of pollution/poor water quality, etc . Good vids tho no hate g

Yeah that's the worst part about carp fishing here. If we didn't have carp that creek and pretty much all the waterways around me would be so trash to fish. I see where you're coming from but rules are rules gotta follow em.

It’s really pointless killing them too, just removing the fish in ur own fishing spots when they been in Aus for ages to the point there’s too many to get rid off. And they leave a shit smell for dog walkers n that when ppl leaving they fish lying around😂 And to top it all off the government Seriously tried dealing with carp by putting an std into the Murray hahaha And werent u fishing in a No fishing pond , technically not following the law either bahah Unnecessary hate towards carp in my opinion g but as long as ppl having fun🤟🏼

It's an invasive species here in Australia. In Victoria the state I live in requires us to kill every carp we catch. There's heavy fines if I had released the carp.

Chris Drawski - Amateur hour for amateur carp anglers. HE says one minute in that this is to help someone catch their first carp, so it is not aimed at professional match fisherman. It is a simple guide for beginners. Amateur comment from an amateur troll requires more effort for it to be effective, and you are worse than an amateur. Crawl back under your rock and practice a bit mate and you might actually be effective, eventually. I doubt it, but good luck with it.
