Hey I'm going fishing in Norway over the summer in Bergen and Sogn, what kind of big fish are up there? Cool video too !
@sigurddavidsen6 жыл бұрын
In Bergen you could catch big ling, tusk, hake and different rays. I would recommend fishing in the deep fjords there, with bait as mackerel.

Just us naturel bait like worms makrel crabs etc etc

I'm coming back to Norway to fish this summer. What kind of lures do you use/recommend?
@sigurddavidsen7 жыл бұрын
It depends on which species you would like to catch. Where in Norway are you going to fish?
@niklaslindberg9847 жыл бұрын
I don't know where yet, but we were north last year and caught almost nothing. Now we are going somewhere between Stavanger and Bergen. Cod / Tursk is one we would like to cathc a lot but we need to prepare better this year.

If you want big cod, you should go to the northern part of Norway - Sørøya for instance. In the fjords of Stavanger and Bergen you can find huge lings, cusk, stingrays and other deepwaterfish. I would recommend Nedstrandsfjorden, a big fjord next to Stavanger.

Hi Niklas, where did you go north and why was it not very good? Were you fishing from boat or shore, why were you not prepared? I want to be prepared when I go to Norway this year :) thanks

I always use natural baits. Mostly macrel pieces

Superb video, thanks for sharing. I assume with the movement of the camera that you are drifting on a boat, but I will go to Vega in September this year to fish from the shore. Have you ever fished on Vega or know what it is like? How do you think Vega will compare to Øksfjord? Thank you
@sigurddavidsen6 жыл бұрын
Vega seems like a nice fishing spot! Could be a lot of flatfish, halibut and wolffish in this area. I guess it could be combarable to Øksfjord. Good luck in September!

Det var jo nesten ca 3 min ut i videoen at det kunne blitt spennende :p
@sigurddavidsen7 жыл бұрын
Det mest spennende er nok den store kveita på 0:48, estimert til å være 40kg..
