@@TheHunterFisher The reel is worthy of such a rod, but it's not specified BFS like the reel.. (Rated: 1/8oz - 3/8oz lures) Oh yeah, it's nice to see you and others _finally_ buying L-hand reels. I never could accept casting and reeling with the same hand, swapping the rod between hands, needlessly, 100's of times a day is just stupid.

I actually personally can cast with both hands. I prefer right hand cast left handed retrieve for finesse but power fishing I cast left arm and retrieve right handed. Been fishing left and right handed reels my whole life.

Are you using the Shimano Majestic XT on the CQ23 BFS and if how is the rod preforming for UL lures

No I don’t have that rod, nor would I recommend it for ultralight. That’s more of what people call a “power” bfs rod. This is the Huerco mg700r-5c

XG has more torque for heavier fish and HG retrieves the line faster and is better for fast waves

That spot has been overfished. You used to be able to catch big snappers, and sheepsheads all year round. Now it's only a colder month spot.

It’s because some idiot gave it away for free on Facebook. Now morons who think laws don’t apply to them go out there and keep double or triple their limit. I’ve personally called FWC on a family of four that kept over 40 trout back in winter. I was there to count every single one of em. At least a quarter of em were 20”+. Asked em if they needed a measuring tape because I knew they didn’t have one, they responded with “nuh man, we got our measurements memorized”. I hope people realize this spot is absolute garbage unless you know how to fish it perfectly now.

I don't try to tell people but we used to go out during the summer and schools of reds would be everywhere chasing mullet, Tarpon and snook would also be around there too, with chasing the mullet, but ever since all the people fishing I haven't seen any of it since.

Yeah I’ve done the best I can in my videos to never mention where I’m at, on Instagram I always put my location not there and such. People are gonna be spot hogs no matter what in this area

Why exactly did you not like the curado bfs? I’m just curious because I was thinking about getting one

I never had consistent braking with it. Plus there’s no point when Tsurinoya Dark wolf ultra is just as good. Plus SLX bfs is very similar, and a lot cheaper. Curado bfs I personally is one of the worst options rn in the bfs market. Especially with how much the Daiwa Alphas AIR TW is on Amazon rn
