Well, that certainly was epic! This is my first time seeing the video, but I'm very glad you reposted it. It certainly looks like a great spot. I'd say you earned your reward for braving the steep launch and the mud!

This video was even better after seeing it for the second time! I think you opened a lot of peoples eyes as to how many biggins are in this lake and where they hang out. Just goes to show that the best time to fish it may be when the power boaters are off the lake. Great job!
@fishinwithishАй бұрын
It's odd to think I opened anyone's eyes when all I did was the same exact thing I always do🤣🤣🤣 I think what really helped was the lake being super low and that condensed the fish to a smaller area of course not having boats meant less fishing pressure also. I would assume coming into winter it also just plain makes sense to fish closer to the dam side of the lake because in theory it should be the deepest part. Idk In my eyes I did nothing special or taught anything that shouldn't already be known. If I did something special it's unknown to me and would be complete luck lol thanks for watchin ken.

What a great day Ish! Good job dude! My buddy and I caught bass like that many times in that lake, so it's nothing new, or secret. You're a good man Dan, that's why I watch and also you're a great fisherman, and crack me up. That being said, whatever you decide, I get it. I wish you nothing but success. Thanks for the entertainment Ish!!!

Thanks matt!!! I'm going to do my best with continuing videos and see where this path leads me. At this point there's enough people who know me from videos that it feels like there's no turning back now. It does help when I have people like you commenting to support me. I look at it like this.... in the United States, you have the right to a trial by jury. Jurors are just everyday random people, no different than my subscribers/viewers. So when I do something and I actually do something wrong, I'm pretty positive Im going to know from the comments. When the day comes and everyone in the comments is saying ish you messed up.... I will then know I made a mistake. Technically every video isn't much different than a trial by jury. Thanks for commenting matt.

This is one of your best videos!!!! Had me laughing the entire time. I have used that launch many times when normal people launch their boat during season. One early fall morning while launching we noticed that the bottom of the ramp in the water was covered by hundreds of crayfish. I guess they were feeding on the moss on the end of the launch. The strange thing was that they didn't spook. Could be why all those big smallies are hanging out there even this late in the season. I believe we will be seeing more lake videos in the future. So many biggins in such a small area. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
@fishinwithish2 ай бұрын
Thanks ken!!! Glad you enjoyed it! I have heard stories from several people talking about mass amounts of cray fish being in particular areas. I have yet to see that happen! The closest I have came is wading one time I came across about 30 giant crayfish that were dead in small area. I will definitely be fishing the yough lake again for sure! Happy thanks giving, thanks for watchin!!!

Great video but I can see how you might have ruffled a feather or two. My suggestion is next time make and post a video, just don’t mention or use the lake/river name in the title or just use a generic region name. You could name the video something like “Giant late fall smallmouths on a drawn down pleasure boat lake”. I doubt it would hurt your view count. Wade, kayak, inflatable fisherman that are willing to do their homework on google maps and hike (or e-bike) into or go to the hard to launch spots have earned it when they find a good spot. But we don’t need to spell it out for the rest who are less likely to respect and preserve the resource. I enjoy your videos and just sent you an order to try yours baits out here in west Ohio.

This is the video that someone was mad about? I don't even get why, people need to mind their own business lol. If he was worried about his "secret spot" I have bad news for him, everyone in western PA knows this lake.
@fishinwithishАй бұрын
Yupp, this is the one.... I think there are a lot of people living miserable lives and they have nothing better to do then try to control people n make them miserable. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if someone called me a spot burner for saying I'm fishing in PA.
