I've always been an okuma fan. I'm always confident when I'm using their reels. I don't have, however, heavy duty okuma rods for cats and stripers like yours. I have dead eye pro for eyes, sst for salmon, and citrix & tcs for bass applications. I think i want one line yours!

Ok thanks pal. I’m trying the 10’ model out an Im running a bait caster on mine work fine eyes are not the big gaint eyes like a lot of spinning models it works an performs perfectly. I figured you have one of those cold waters strapped on it lol. An I’m speaking on the okuma Record chaser

I absolutely love the Okuma Rods and Reels. I love my Okuma Fin Chaser 10Ft Combo (in Blue) but cannot find another one anywhere. I found a guy who has the 7ft Fin Chaser Combo (in Blue) and I tried to purchase if from him on the spot but he turned me down.

Great video. I have a couple of questions regarding the rod. Which model are you using? Also, would you put these rods in the “trophy fish only” category or are they somewhat versatile. I like the looks and specs of the rods, but I’m not looking for a big beefy broomstick of a rod?
