hey Billy, here's a few tips, I did the exact thing with my folding cart except I wrapped the rod holders to the cart first with electrical tape, this gave the zip ties something pliable to bite into, my rod holders are rock solid, they are also home made from that thin pvc pipe, another thing i did was I had an old bike basket lying around I attached that to the cart frame between the rod holders as well worked out really well, now o have somewhere to put extra fishing junk or maybe my lunch bag!! my folding chair is held in place with Velcro cable ties and a short bungee cord I got from the dollar tree, im proud of my little fishing cart worked out really well

Nice video, can’t always catch ‘em. I use same setup, smaller cooler. And a yeti bucket for minnows, utility pockets outside bucket to hold bubbler and plyers etc…and Plano bucket tackle box lid, i use as cutting board. In a wheelchair it helps to have everything handy.

That's a good idea Billy. I have to get one of those, beats walking a half mile with my hands full of fishing gear. Not to mention the back pack.

Yeah man would love to see you create a new bank fishing bag.

Thanks for the video..just bought a big collapsible cart for the beach. This will hopefully save me some money b/c beach fishing carts are super expensive

Nice inexpensive cart setup Billy, I modified a second cart this year as well...its maybe a wee bit over the top but it allows me to get a very wide spread but keeps the rods in close proximity like a command center when I hit the big lakes in Missouri. Check it out some time if ya like. Keep cranking out them vids bud

That is the same cart I use. The only problem I have with it is the back wheels are set in a little to much . I normally load mine down pretty good, tackle bag, chair, three rods, and maybe a bucket. I’ve rolled it over a couple of times. I wish it had the wider beach wheels on it. I’m considering putting training wheels on it.

I agree when you load these carts down they tip really really easy.

Try an Insta360 instead of a GoPro. They don't overheat and shut down like a GoPro will. Also for your GoPro get you a metal case, paint it white and use an external battery to power it. That will reduce the heat the camera generates itself and the aluminum case will act like a heat sink to draw heat out of the camera. Painting it white also helps keep the sun from heating up the metal case.

I should have mentioned the issue I was having. That GoPros time keep battery was dead. So every time I stop recording it resets the clock. It makes for a jumbled mess when editing. I have bought another one to replace it. I have never had the Hero 8 overheat. The 9 and 10 overheats and because they increased the megapixels it causes overexposure issues at dusk and dawn. They really dropped the ball. Sometimes I wished i would have stayed with what Catfish Dave uses (what I recommended to him years ago). The Sony HDR-AS50.

@@TNRVG I started with a GoPro 4 and I have a Silver 7 and a Black 7 then I bought an Insta360 R and absolutely love it. I plan on getting a couple more over time .
