Makes sense Den, I use it for cleaning info from winders as well, 😊

Missed you last Canberra Den hope you had a good new year.......I just use a white board marker it's water proof enough to stay on there but rubs off with a damp cloth no fiddly bottles ......cheers Shaun

Hi Den I always enjoy your videos. Here in Melbourne, Vic I don't do as much float fishing as I used to ( here and in the UK) but I use the connectors that come with Piksters( teeth cleaning brushes ). You can buy many different colours or just wrap Flouro tape around the connector. I make most of my floats from balsa and peacock quills and fit the connector to the float tip.

What a great idea well done. Living in the UK we can have so many different light patterns on the water this will be a game changer. I always put a quick release on my floats for float changes but I do not have all my floats in different colours!

I had the same heat problem today in Adelaide Den 40oC, so gave it a miss till next week... don’t know what’s worse -4oC or + 40oC, at least when it’s hot you can find shade or go for a swim, -4oC down the pub in front of the fire 😂😂😂
@FishingwithDen23 күн бұрын
Exactly Doug. I did try to find some shade a few weeks ago, so I headed for a swim amongst a line of huge trees. When I got to my swim, I found a huge branch had broken off the tree next to me and it was sitting exactly where my Seatbox should have been. Scary, because some trees over here are known for shedding huge branches during summer and it happens without warning.

Hi den yet another great video and I've generally always done this but more recently I've bought the same floats twice and then blacked one out but just added a quick change swivel between the float stops or weights and actually change the float but of course without changing the whole set up again. Absolutely love all your videos and it's very interesting now your living down under.

Too much messing around...I use silicone float rubbers(uncut) in different colours. Can even make a striped pattern on the tip for lift bites and sun rippled water.
@FishingwithDen24 күн бұрын
Hi Steve. You can easily make a striped pattern with the permanent marker too mate.
