Blanton invited me out fishing at 3am for crappie on bridges in the dark here on Lake Guntersville. The crappie were schooled up and biting like crazy! This was my first attempt going this early and I'll have to do it again. We all had a blast and I almost caught my limit of crappie! I hope you enjoyed this video!

We have a lake in North Louisiana that is about 10-14 feet overall but it has three different large areas that are between 20-30 feet deep. We go in December, January, and February and they are stacked in those deep spots. We use the same jig setup but every now and then we bring shiners and fish them with a cork and a bobber stopper. There is nothing quit like fighting a 2 lb white perch from 29 feet deep on an ultralite.

I was thrilled to watch you hooking those fat slabs, however, it thrilled my soul to hear you share your walk with Christ. I have never been fishing for Crappie that early. Maybe Sandy and I will have to give it a try. We haven’t been since late last summer.. had a really bad day (truck was broken into at the landing) and it just kinda spoiled the rest of the summer. We have both been chomping at the bit to get back on the water. I sure would like to have a few the size of those you were catching to throw in some grease! @@FishingwithNordbye it is what it is.. the police finally caught who was doing it. They hit all the local boat ramp parking lots multiple times. I think the Detectives said there were about 50+ vehicles in total. It taught us a valuable lesson. We now take our wallets and pistol in the boat with us and leave NOTHING in the truck. I enjoy watching your videos, no foul language, nice positive attitude, gorgeous fish.. the only thing more I could ask for would be hooking them myself.. lol
