Hello Chris, I am a long time hobbyist, I agree with you on the fact that there is much information that has been lost. William T. Innes is the man that I believe is the father of our hobby, starting with his book published in the 1930s. We need to keep these people in our history. Many of the new recommendations are as old as the dirted tank. Keep up what you are doing , the hobby needs to have young people enter it and expand its reach and knowledge base.

This made me smile ed! I hope to encourage more people my age to start engaging with fish clubs. There is such a wealth of knowledge there, and I don't want us to lose it!

My opinion is that it's dieng due to people getting misinformation from places like Walmart petco etc etc due to which the fish die

Not only there but online as well. People can be so rude online to individuals really looking for help!

Greetings from Poland. Fishkeeping will survive but young people got so many distractions these days. I was staring before internet era and there were only books and magazines. These days people spend too much time in front of the screen instead doing real stuff.

I agree. I'm hoping to use this medium as well as Instagram to inspire people to disconnect! I'm Polish and Irish (American, but heritage wise), so this was fun to see! Hopefully, as more people my age grow up they start to realise the vacuum of media the internet can be.
