I'll say South winds are the best for pompano but any strong wind is not good for jigging. I prefer those calm days with very strong tights that's where you catch the most 😃💪

I have yet to catch one Pompano been trying really hard every weekend tried everything jigging, high pompano rig with shrimp and Sand fleas, no luck or maybe I just don't know how to. I'm in South East florida Dania beach area fishing , caught snooks, black drum, whiting's and Flounder but Pompano
