Your videos on KFS are the best in the genre. I've watched each probably a dozen times and keep them on my TV as video wallpaper occasionally. So glad you have decided to make content on your own channel. I have watched every channel on the hobby for years, and NO ONE is even close to your level regarding what I want to see. I want a LONG form video like this that shows all the wild, custom detail (+ mad scientist vibe) of your setups and what it takes to keep everything up and running. I also LOVE the chaos and the wildness. If you ever run out of content ideas, just remember it's always going to be super interesting to simply see how you've got everything set up and the progress on tanks. The tubs you have outside are also huge for future video content. Please keep putting out longer (30 min +) videos like this, stay consistent, and there's no reason you can't grow this channel into something massive. You're super interesting, well-spoken, humble, experienced, intelligent, and simply a natural on camera. Keep up the great work.

If you're ever looking for content, I'd love to see a bit on your fry-rack system. Particularly how you get water to them. I understand how they drain. I'm trying to find a simple way to move small amounts of water into the system. Cheers, Mate and give Ziggy a pat on the butt for me. 🙂

Your tanks are so beautiful. Health permitting I’m going to set up my first tank in decades and my first ever planted tank. Those guppies are nature as art. I’ve saved your video for inspiration. Beautiful snake…I grew up in the Southern and Southwest US and love snakes…even the naughty ones. My father taught me to respect and safely handle snakes. From the time I was 14 until I became too disabled to do so I always moved them away from heavily populated areas, as well as roads and streets. People run over them on purpose which really annoys me. The first time I moved a rattlesnake my future hubby almost passed out…he had pretty bad snake phobia but tolerates them now.
@AdriansFishroom10 ай бұрын
That’s a very cool message to receive, I do love pretty much everything in nature (except ticks lol) and I try to keep everyone as happy and healthy as possible whilst making it beautiful to look at. I’m sorry to hear of your health problems and hope that you do manage to get a tank set up, even a simple one that you can plant out beautifully and put a stunning beta to give you a little wet pet. Another really simple idea that doesn’t have too many plants would be a shell dweller tank as they are forever entertaining and super easy to take care of. Best of luck please send me a picture of what you set up sending you much love and blessings. ❤️🙏

@@AdriansFishroom thank you for your reply…I was an avid terrestrial gardener…an acre with all kinds of flowers, herbs, and veggies until had to give it up. I love critters of all kinds except ticks and roaches. I definitely want to try my hands as an “underwater” gardener…I’ve missed getting my hands dirty for such a long time. I’m starting w a 10-15 gallon in my bedside table…strawberry and dwarf emerald rasboras, Pygmy corydoras (so cute), some Nerite snails and one rabbit snail because they are so darn cute. If I can make room for a 15g then also clown killifish…which are so beautiful and like to be at the top. I’ve done 3 years of research and am itching to start. @AdriansFishroom10 ай бұрын
Yeah good question and it can usually be put down to 2 things…. Too much light, too many nutrients. If they are cherry shrimp (neocaridina) then I would do an 80% water change weekly for 3-4 weeks (your shrimp will love it) and if Caridina 20% weekly for 5-6 weeks and turn down or turn off the lights for at least a week. Good luck with it, if you catch it early you will smash it out.❤️🙏🙌🏻🤩👊😊

Hey man did u have any tips on sexing l397
@AdriansFishroom10 ай бұрын
Yep, for sure, the boys, as they grow up, will have a much broader head and longer and more armored, and the girls will almost always be smaller, shorter in length, and have much fatter bellies. Another way to be pretty close to certain is to put in Less caves than known males as they will occupy them, and the females won’t. Keep pulling the boys out till the caves are abandoned. Have other large rocks or wood for the girls to go get cover.❤️🙏

My pleasure… and I’ve found when getting them to spawn, keep them HOT 🥵 then do a couple of 90% water changes and they will be very happy to breed I would think.

Any predator issues with those guppy ponds (if they’re outside), especially with snakes like the one you found?

My plants always die within a few months, my fish, snails, shrimp all seem healthy. None of the critters eat the plants so maybe its the water chemistry thats the issue?
@AdriansFishroom10 ай бұрын
Good chance of it plus decent lighting…. More regular small water changes also keeps them happy. Try with some elodea or foxtail or if you can get it susswassertang… it requires no work and almost no light and the shrimp LOVE it

Your channel is going to be great. Question, what do you use for plant food when starting a new tank are you using compost and then a sand/gravel substrate? I am so jealous of your plant growth.
@AdriansFishroom10 ай бұрын
So nice of you and nope, to be honest I use playground sand and or aqua soil and rarely to I ever add sets to substrate. If I’m focussed and or remember lol I may add some liquid ferts once a month or twice if I remember.❤️🙏
