I caught my PB last summer/fall transition in this scenario. Swim jig down a grass line that leads to a drop off. The current was flowing that direction and the bass were waiting right after the ledge and hammered it as soon as it passed overhead. Was so satisfying because I actually targeted that area and consciously threw that lure and it paid off!

Wonder boy and Tactical my two favorite channels. If you're fishing a deep underspin if the sunlight cannot reach it I don't think it will flash. If I'm wrong let me know. You will still get extra vibration

Have you ever tried spoons with a open eye single hook with a swivel? Works fine here in Scandinavia for seatrout🤙

An under spin swim bait is always fire all year long and in every condition 🤘 It is definitely a fish finder

Always enjoy your videos and always learn something new. I was just given a River 2 Sea worldwide spoon 2oz, 5inch. It's white with what looks like a 2/0 treble. Grateful , but I don't know how it'll do. It's got a stinger hook on it like what I used to use in salt water. It is deep on one end like a spoon so if it doesn't work I can always eat my corn flakes with it. HaHa! Stripers may like it. ?? Would you use this type of spoon for bass fishing?? Great vid keep up the good work. Thanks

Really good one! I like fishing channels most fishermen stay in the shallows and I hate the crowd. The flutter spoon is a workout, pack'm but don't use them much. The hair jig and swim bait I do. I live up north so I stay with a 5-5.5 inch myself. Musky are the hazard I'm not prepared for as I don't use a wire. I know Matt Stefan loves them, but I don't prepare for them.

Come to Pickwick right now… or any of the TN River ledge lakes for that matter. You will be going shallow to avoid the crowds. Let people notice your pole bent offshore a couple of times and see what happens. Catch a couple and leave and then try to come back. There’s 10 boats on your spot before you even left. If you are practicing for a tournament and find something offshore you’re crazy if you make a cast on it. Just mark it and move on. All of the big schools are already marked by a hundred and fiddy-leven guys and endure a steady rotation all day every day.
@terrytresemer28642 жыл бұрын
@@Boethius411 That happens here. I've had 30 - 40 boats around us competing for the fish we found.
@Boethius4112 жыл бұрын
@@terrytresemer2864 I’m a little confused by the avoiding the shallows to avoid the crowd part of your comment then.
@terrytresemer28642 жыл бұрын
@@Boethius411 Up here near NY-PA border everyone beats the banks. There only a few boats off shore, walleye move out deep in the summer with many bass in tow. Docks, decks, boathouses, and sea walls abound at the banks. Pickwick has always seem too busy for a vacation trip

When it comes to the hair jigs when would be the time to throw a regular hair jig vs a hair jig with an under spin blade.

I don't see the link to the link to your neko rig video can you add it to the comments please. I have been fishing the neko successfully for 3+ years for smallies and am always interested in how others use it. Thx.
