I absolutely love my Friskars knife - so very comfortable to hold!

The "problems" you were having with the Stanley are actually it's best feature. You are to use the wheel to lock down the blade when extended so that there is absolutely no blade play. This makes the blade more accurate and stable when you need it. No other knife I know of has a blade this stable. Except fixed blades.

Looks like a great knife! I have their splitting axe and pole saw. They make great stuff!

I was thinking of picking up the Fiskar pole saw to replace the decades old one sitting in my garage. Until I looked around the house I haven't paid much attention to how many Fiskar products I actually own! They do make great products :)

It’s a great utility knife. Very easy to change the blades.

Been watchin since your knife porn days. I like the new direction. A video on how you sharpen your pruners? Your drawing vids were greet too. Somehow I'm into everything you are. You're one of my best subs.

Hi and thank you! That means a lot to me that you're still watching my videos. I don't put out much content these days. I got a bit burnt out uploading vids, I'm just taking it easy now and producing videos whenever I feel like it. Thank you for your very kind words! It's nice that we share the same interests. I will see about getting a video up on me sharpening my pruners, I don't know if it's going to be anything exciting lol.

Good review, very helpful as I am looking for a good utility knife. And for the measurement it is 18 centimeters, or 180mm not 18 millimeters. Thanks for doing the video. Much appreciated.

Wanted to know how the sight line was for more precise cutting?

Dude, nobody clicks on this video to hear you talk about things that you don't like. Also you spent five minutes on the slide feature. We get it. We know how to slide things. When I finally found the one thing I needed to know you did a great job so thanks for that!

At least there was one thing that was helpful in this vid :)

that looks pretty beefy. Besides surgical razors, the only box cutter style I usually use are those rectangle chewing gum like push style ones lol. I do have a super old metal one like the silver one you showed in yellow. They all seem to similarly keep the extras hidden in the back of the handle. That's some brand loyalty there. Granted there isn't a plethora of competitors in those categories, but it's hard to beat them for the price, availability etc etc.

I recently found an old painter's scraper from my dad's tools. It's a metal razor holder that holds the rectangle style razors in a way that exposes the entire length of the blade. It's used to scrape off old paint. Fiskar is one of the top companies that produce some really high quality stuff. I have hole punches, craft punches and a paper cutter from Fiskar. They also make cooking utensils, I just found that out recently.

What is the purpose of the square hole in the blade?

This utility knife is turning out to a be wonderful! My Stanley (non-folding) is still part of my leather working tool box, but the Fiskars is being used at every opportunity.
