My mom usually just puts the chicken inside the pot & makes it together instead of adding it after. Usually adds more taste and curry taste
@stevesuh10593 жыл бұрын
just a tip, because white rice is a refined carb meaning it's not really considered a whole grain, you could substitute with brown rice and to make the brown rice a little more tasty, as it begins to boil, throw in teaspoon of garlic powder, fresh parsley, and if you wanted, throw in some turmeric and cayenne to make it "yellow" rice.

spray oil has just as much fat as any other. The reason they can label it as 0 calories is because the duration of the spray listed only allows less than 5 calories worth of fat to come out. so they are allowed to put 0 calories. But nobody sprays for 1/4 second. So assume about 10 calories per second of spraying.
@DCboy15673 жыл бұрын
Labels round down the cals if its less than 4 and some labels use a super small serving size to make it appear as 0 cals. The cals r still pretty much negligible

Pam isn’t really 0 calories. They just label it like that because they count like 1/8 of a second as a serving size, while a can has like 1500 “servings”. Depends on how many seconds you spray. It’s definitely way lower calorie though than using whole tablespoons of oil.

Too much sodium (salt). Curry cubes, pre made chicken stock, the heavy salted chicken in oven and a lot of salt in your boiled vegetables .
@sandygonsalves46463 жыл бұрын
The chicken stock was unsalted. And the use of salt in other parts was minimal
@ferocity183 жыл бұрын
Unless you have a preexisting condition, high sodium isn't even unhealthy as long as you stay hydrated. It certainly isn't something that needs to be micro managed.
@sayso133 жыл бұрын
@@sandygonsalves4646 there is approximately 8 000mg of sodium per pack of the typical Japanese curry kits. So those 4 subsection of curry cubes was about 4000mg, plus I think more was added. Daily consumption of sodium for a average diet is 3800mg. Not to take in the trying to lose weight factor.
@sayso133 жыл бұрын
@@ferocity18 too much salt is never too good. Common sense. Sodium intake for healthy adults is 2,300 milligrams. If u choose to cut and not address all the other factors you will gain all the weight right back. As soon as u take your foot of the gas all the changes to your body is gone. In a snap of finger.
@sandygonsalves46463 жыл бұрын
@@sayso13 jeez why are you microanalyxing this so much? Like another commenter said, you can curb sodium intake with water.
