This is hard to watch now since my friend who came with me to this show has passed. Big man with the red hair up front. I miss him so much, but this is the best way to have video memories of him, just having a total blast in the K-Pit.

Okay but Alex's singing isn't as stable/doesn't have the range that Joe does. Don't get me wrong, Alex Terrible has some filthy vocals, but I believe that word articulation, range, lyrics, power, and consistency are roles that played in effect when this decision was made.

I dunno....oddly "leftist" lyrics yet they have more or less dealt with shady, massively corporate record labels. First, E-One...... which is/was the Koch Brothers...... conservative neo-cons with a track record of welp.... you name it. Now Nuclear Blast...... a longtime corporate metal label with a long historty of lawsuits, legal injunctions, unhappy bands, etc, etc. Everything means nothing....... people believe in nothing. Better deathcore records and performers all around of just 2017-2019? Shadow of Intent, Brand of Sacrifice, Spite, Chelsea Grin, Last Ten Seconds of Life, Carnifex, Oceano, Lorna Shore Dyscarnate, Slaughter to Prevail. Don't get me wrong, I like FFAA's albums and think they are a good band. But not the definition of deathcore and despite their own opinions, not really pushing any crazy boundries. Added a little more black metal, melodic death metal, a tad of 90's emo, and poof... what everyone is doing. Then.... I find a willingness to work with labels like e-one their choice, not something I will boycott, but it makes it difficult for me to take any sociopolitics seriously. Like how I take man made climate change totally seriously.....because the ultra rich telling me I should, do so by flying around the world to climate change conventions while making millions and billions....... This band continues because the pay is decent.

Joshua Tildon Not taking anything from those two, because Joe is a beast and Phil Bozeman was the Gold Standard of Deathcore vocalists for a decade (hes still amazing, id just argue hes been superceded), but Ben Duerr from Shadow of Intent, Travis from Cattle Decapitation, CJ Mcreery from Lorna Shore (Former Signs of the Swarm), Greg from Shrine of Malice and many, MANY other deserve these props just as much. We are currently entering a renaissance... Nay, a golden age of Deathcore, and many of the best Deathcore records... maybe ever... have been released this year. We are watching so many extremely skilled individuals, vocalists, guitarists, drummers, bassists and anything else under the sun alike realease some of the best music I have ever heard. There are so many individuals that deserve to be a part ofthis conversation as much as these two.

His screams are up there with the best in deathcore and on top of that he does that really rough style singing and manages to stay on pitch 90% of the time. This is fucking insane how clean and "unbroken" all his vocals come out live. Deep, safe sung falsettos. Sharp highs and mids. I've been sleeping on this band, fucking killer show 🤘🏼

Watched this so many times, I feel like I’ve gotten to know everyone in the crowd. Dude with the red hat, chick headbanging in the front, big dude with the beard next to her, guy with the glasses that keeps turning around and smiling. What a fcukin’ killer set!

They LOVE small dive bars. Saw them in Hamden, CT and got to chat with them after the show. They're all super humble and honestly just have such a good time on stage....I can't wait to see them again! Btw...the K! Pit is BARELY bigger than where I saw them, so it's totally a similar atmosphere!

This may sound weird to some, but it's really refreshing seeing people of color at metal concerts. Although the metal community seems to be very inclusive, I always found it hard finding people of color with similar tastes in music as myself.
