@AndrewJShirley3 жыл бұрын
For such a wonderfully humble and kind band of guys, they produce and play some of the most incredible and fantastic Metal. It doesn't matter what genre you want to put them in, they are fucking stellar at it. I can't get enough of them and I have no idea how Joe produces the vocals he does live as he does on record, like fucking HOW!?! They deserve to be headlining over any of the acts they've opened or supported. Absolute genre leaders and it's about time they are recognised for their brilliant music, insane production and lyrical messages.
@myyoutube71442 жыл бұрын
Goddamn right. They deserve better from the world. It's a shame metal has become so niche/fringe. I hope bands like this are given the respect they deserve one day...even if we're all dead by then. It's crazy how much amazing music most of society as a whole will never hear. I naively thought the collapse of radio would propel metal to new heights with the internet being the main distributor. Now places like Spotify are just like the radio. "Bands" and "artists" paying to get added to their bullshit playlists. Everyone shits on metal, even the mainstream successful acts. Joey Jordison wasn't even featured in the Grammys in memoriam segment the year he died, and he's a fucking Grammy winner from one of the most successful metal bands to ever exist. Commercially.

There is something about their sound, I usually don't really care for most deathcore bands, but their heavy is just so unique the breakdowns are so tight. It's just so irresistible, just so emotional and hopeless (in a good way) and no matter how hard I try I can't find any other band that does this style as good as these guys. Maybe whitechapel but they are quite different I guess.
