I have to chime in on the durability. I bought these gloves in April and now I'm December I feel like I should be looking for a replacement soon. The padding on the right knuckle area gone soft and some areas of the stitching are beginning to separate on both gloves. By far the are the most comfortable and protective gloves I've ever used. I with the durability were better.

Is the damage to the point that U can put tape over it or do you think it'll eventually become useless
@ouley7
@ouley7 Жыл бұрын
@@Issajoke7 i never seen tape on gloves before. But I used and leather/vinyl repair/glue to fix a 1cm long cut I had on the knuckle area of the right glove. And also used the glue on small areas of the stitching that were just beginning to separate. My left gloves foam is good, but the right side is pretty soft at the first two knuckle area. I also have some bubbles forming between the foam and leathers... Very minor bubbles at the moment. Mind my gloves are only 10 months old.

Really informative review. Thank you. Please could I ask which gloves you would opt for out of the Ringside G2s, Adidas Adispeeds, and the new Adidas Tilt 350s (velcro). I'll be using them mainly for sparring and my main priority is knuckle protection and wrist support. I'm also looking for a compact, low profile glove. Many thanks for your help. And a belated Happy Christmas to you. Keep well. 🙏

Hi, great review, like always. I have some question - how do you think, can they take as much beating on heavy bag as for example Rival rb11 or rb80? I watched your reviews of all those gloves and I know how much points of durability you gave them but I'm concerned if those adidas gloves padding can be as durable on the heavy bag as the padding of Rival gloves which are specifically marked as bag gloves. I'm not certain about rival because I really don't like meshes which are IMO the weakest and ugliest part of the glove.

I already know you answer in terms of performance. But I wanted to get some custom TopBoxer Win 1 gloves that will cost me nearly the same as the speed tilt. Even with the “custom fit” aspect of the Win1, would you still say it’s a no brainer to go with the adidas speed? Just not sure if they are comparable at all or if adidas truly blow them out of the water. Thanks!

Hi mate, any idea of how it might impact the hook? How you feel the hooks when hitting the heavy bag or the mits? For straight punches or hooks with thumb up/palm facing self bet they are great. But i mainly use the classic palm down/facing the floor and the russian type of hook to cover distance. I rarely go palm facing self, only when very close. I found a good price on these yet i dont have them in my country and cant test them, neither the lower variants 250, 150. I dont want to find myself with the hand in an unnatural position and mess the flow when throwing palm down hooks as the knuckles go inwards and im afraid ill turn in into a side index knuckle (that or even thumb) slap or over commit with the motion to compensate for the 15degree tilt. For this aspect alone im also considering the adispeed 500 as an alternative, although at a slightly higher price. Any insight from anyone would be much appreciated. Thanks
