Does this watch track calories burned for stuff like walking on a treadmill where I hold the supports for most the time, or for burpees and pushups?
@GamerBody3 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. It tracks workouts in general but NO fitness tracker is very accurate with calorie burning. I'd cut whatever it gives you in half. For example, with my regular workouts that last an hour, it says I burn 500+ calories. Not a chance. I probably burn somewhere between 200-250 on that hour. I use it more just to see if I'm active in a day, but sleep patters, and heart rate. Otherwise the tracking will overestimate the burn.

This has nothing to do with the video, but as a gamer I imagine you spend a lot of time sitting, maybe not in the best posture ever. Something that tends to come with this is APT and rounded shoulders, do you or have you experienced this before? I know you are a fan of band pull aparts from other videos I have watched but are there any other corrective exercises you would recommend? If so and it isn’t a super quick answer, I know I am looking for a solution to these and would definitely be be interested in a video about this topic, so if you need ideas, I know I would and think lots of other subscribers would be interested in a video like this to change things up a little bit. Keep going with these videos, one thing that keeps me coming back is how interactive you are with your community. Almost to 4K 👍👏
@GamerBody4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the thought and I suffered pretty badly for years with forward rounded shoulders. While not perfect yet, I have reduced it immensely with a greater focus on just building my back. Also, it seems to have greatly improved once I moved to a full-body workout which is weird. I don't think that should really matter, but it could be that the other splits were driving too much chest development as I made those harder than my back exercises which overdeveloped the chest. I will definitely be making more videos geared towards that type of content and thanks for the suggestion!

You should read/listen to reviews before you buy. Clearly says no Spotify. Also, there's a big difference between and running and walking stride length, so there should be a difference in distance...Right??
@GamerBody3 жыл бұрын
Yes I misunderstood the spotify but the function of it is lame regardless. And for distance, it should be the same distance if you go the same path. Stride length won't change a distance, it would just mean it takes more/less steps to go that distance depending on how you are comparing them.

How well does it estimate the bmr through the day? Do you know the margin of error it has? Thanks!
@GamerBody3 жыл бұрын
I don't know the margin of error and I wouldn't trust it very much. I'd focus more on developing habits and seeing where you gain fat vs lose it.
