Should've seen this before buying, i bought this last week and steps counting sucks too much of wrong count.. now its too late to return and im stuck with 5k extra steps per day without moving 💀

Sometimes firmware update ls are fixing such kind of behavior.

Steps counter is based on hand movements. And not only Fitbit is using the same algorithm. Unfortunately not accurate

Most of these trackers are pretty accurate. Most of them count based on gyroscope + accelerometer.

I got 3200 steps since I got the watch at 4pm to now 11pm. During this 6 hours period I did not walk much but sat in home and for dinner mostly. Seriously inaccurate!

A Narrow ,tiny screen 😁😁😁 The Best 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It does not look like the best looking tracker. I think the best one Redmi 7 Pro and Huawei 6 and 7

As a former fitbit user and current mi band user, I can say that fitbit tracking is much much better than mi band. Yeah fitbit doesn't have a big screen or appealing design, but if you are really looking for precision tracking, fitbit is the one to go

True - the big screen is a serious advantage with Mi Band series. But - interesting about the tracking - did you notice the steps counter? It's way off...

@@TechMishka I have had many Fitbits and yeah they do have issues, the biggest in my view is that premium membership, I have always found the step counting to be very good. The Quantified Scientist channel does some very good work in this area and Fitbits always seem to be very good, as does the Mi Band 6, with its recent firmware update. That said, that channel has not, at this time, looked at the Inspire 3 and I as yet don't have one either so maybe there is an issue with it in this regard, or maybe an issue with the one in you have for this review? But you can only review on what you see. Anyways, I appreciate your vids .. good work and many thanks.

I have just received Inspire 3 today at 4pm. The installation wizard couldn't get the bluetooth connection paired with my Google Pixel 7A. Some how I disrupted the process and manually grant the permission one by one instead of the Wizard process to got it installed. Since 4pm to now 11pm, I have been sitting and driving only yet the watch say I have walked 3200 steps. It's seriously inaccurate! Also at 11pm, the Fitbit software cannot connect and sync to my new watch. The software says the software tracker app needs to be updated. Yet the Google Playstore does not have any update version to be installed. The app is difficult to use and full of issues. Compare to my other trackers, this is the worst case! BTW, I have tried out the Versa 4 before I got the Inspire 3 a few days ago. The same issues happened! I will return the watch and forget about the brand from now on.😅

I do not understand how there can be people who buy this product because of the cost it has, there are many better and cheaper options, I have my band 7 pro and the amazfit band 7 and I do not change any of them for the fitbit, even if they pay me for it change them, I would change them

I can tell you one reason: at least for the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 and the Amazfit Bip S (both of which I recently returned): These two devices don't provide continuous heart rate readout on the wrist! Getting a little tired of buying these things and being disappointed. That's ALL I need - just a simple watch that will show continuous heart rate easily (for my autistic son). Hopefully with an always-on display. I don't know why this is so difficult, and really trying to avoid paying the kind of money I spent on my Versa 2 since that's all that's needed. I may buy the Inspire 3 as I climb the price ladder hoping that IT will do this.

​@Mike Bond I am the same as you. I just want a watch that constantly tracks and constantly displays my heart rate. Inspire 3 does not. When you change setting to Always On, the display does stay always on, but the heart rate monitor goes dark after 5 seconds, forcing you to shake your wrist over and over. Also, the wrist twist represents a request for monitoring to begin. So when it goes dark, it is not tracking your HR anymore. It's frustrating and I wish I could find the right watch.
