Thank you so much for this indepth attaching the gold band! The struggle is real. 😅 The pink band was 100x easier. I love this gold band. I used to have an analog gold metal watch that had a similar clasp that I opened and closed to take the watch off and on. This brought back memories.

Hi there, i love your videos I've been watching them every day leading up to my luxe arriving 😊 can i ask a quick question? When i set an alarm on my luxe it only vibrates about 6 times then it stops vibrating. Does yours do this also? I'm just scared mines has a lil defect. Thank you xx

Great video your demonstrations are wonderful. This video has made it even harder to decide now that the special edition is on my list. How comfortable is sleeping with the bracelet on I wonder? I am upgrading from my most loved Alta HR special edition pink and rose gold. A pink silicone band is advertised as included in the Lux special edition. Anyway Thank you for this information.

Great video! Have you noticed the band gets darker as you wear it? I’ve had mine about two months and it’s got a dark tone to it but no peeling or anything that I can tell.

Thanks! To be honest, I don’t wear mine very often (the Luxe isn’t my main wearable). Maybe others can chime in. In any case, it’s good for others to know this might happen. You could potentially contact Fitbit and see if this is expected. They might replace yours under warranty, but it could happen again with a replacement as well…

I have a silver wedding ring/band but lately have preferred my gold earrings/necklaces. Do you think this gold bracelet band would look odd next to my wedding ring? Because of this, I was considering the black Luxe but it seems the bracelet band can go the smallest (5.3" vs 5.5" for the other bands) for my tiny wrist and I assume a black Fitbit with the gold band (if I buy it eventually anyways) wouldn't be ideal. Opinions, anyone!?

Great vid showing the threading by the way 👍🏼👍🏼 Shouldn’t you have equal amounts of small links and big links either side of the tracker? When you show off yours at around 9.19, the link sizes are not even?

I honestly don’t know (I don’t usually wear jewelry 😊), but I do think it is easiest to clasp and unclasp the band when the side with the Fitbit and gorjana logo link is shorter. It also depends on how many of the extra link additions you need to fit your wrist. You might have an even number or you might have an odd number.

Do you know if the fitbit luxe still measures heart rate accurately even when it’s a slightly loose on the wrist? I have my bracelet so the back of the watch is on my wrist and doesn’t move about but I struggle to undo the clasps which makes me think I need to loosen it, but I’m worried it won’t track my heart rate if I loosen it slightly as the watch face will move more. Please help!

Fitbit actually recommends that you wear your device loose enough that you can move it slightly back and forth. It shouldn’t drop all the way down to your wrist when you stand up, for example, but it sounds like you could adjust it to be slightly looser. Heart rate accuracy can actually be hampered if it is worn too tight as well.

Do you notice the connection between the gorjana bracelet and Fitbit Luxe gaps fairly easily? I just got mine and notice that throughout the day the connection will form a small gap and I have to squeeze to push the bracelet and Fitbit back together. Worried if there is something is wrong with my bracelet or if this is totally normal? The loosening doesn’t happen with the silicone band.

It happens with mine, too. It’s probably slightly tight so that when I bend my wrist, the band gets pulled away from the tracker a bit. It hasn’t bothered me, and I didn’t really even notice it, but I have heard of another person this is also happening to, so I think it’s not a defect, just a design flaw (if you will).

Mine is doing the same thing and has actually disconnected a few times, resulting in my Fitbit falling off several times now. Afraid to wear it now, don’t want to lose it or have it break when it hits the floor. Have not had much luck with Fitbit resolving the issue yet.

My wife wore her bracelet for the first time today and I also noticed a slight gap (literally a 1 mm gap mind, but a gap nevertheless) on one side of the bracelet where it actually joins the Luxe main part. This must be a design flaw because the same gap appears on all these bracelets when you do a search on KZbin for this bracelet. If you watch this video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJTNYXSvfL16rs0 you can quite clearly see this gap at 5:00 in the video.

Does the Gorjana link bracelet come with the tracker or is the bracelet sold separately from the Luxe?

It depends. You can buy the special edition of the luxe if you want the gold version and you’ll get the gorjana bracelet with the tracker. If you want the silver color though, you’ll need to buy the non-special edition version and the silver bracelet (and it will cost more separately, unfortunately)

You’re welcome! 😊 For me, it does squeak a little if I move my wrist around quickly (I haven’t exercised with it and I’m not sure I would except walking; and wearing it while walking doesn’t make any noise). I personally wouldn’t swim or shower with it on, because chemicals in soap or a pool would usually have some effect, at least in the long term. A few times here or there would probably be fine. I’d recommend wearing the classic silicone band during exercise and swimming, and not wearing luxe in the shower (and let your wrist breathe during that time instead). But obviously you can do whatever you want (and my information isn’t official, just opinion).

Like changing it from the gold chain to the silicone when I gon to exercise? I’ve never owned a tracker but am considering this one as my first and love the gold chain. You’re welcome and thank you for the kind words 😊 I am very happy with the ease of changing bands on the Luxe and I don’t think you’d find it much of a hassle to change it a few times a day. It only takes a few seconds. I change my bands on my Fitbit Sense a lot because I like to wear one for sleep and one for sweaty exercise, and it’s really no big deal. Hope that helps! 😊

Do NOT buy this! I’ve had this for iver 2 years, the links on the bracelet come off super easily from the device. It is very loose. There are hundreds of complaints on the fitbit site and they haven’t addressed the issue at all. Only offer to replace if you have a warranty. Don’t waste your money!
