Very nice video! I have charging problems with my Versa 3. I noticed damage charging pads on a smartwatch and I thought it could be a problem. So far I tried charging it by just making direct contact with cables, but it still didn't work properly. I noticed it starts to charge sometimes when i squeeze it, so my next step is to take it apart and see if perheaps a connector inside got loose. Thank you for showing this "HOW TO" clip. One small question, what kind of adhesive do you use to glue it together?

Thanks for the video. Would you happen to know what the hole on the same line as the speaker is? I know there is a very small hole for the microphone, but I tried cleaning some gunk out of the small area next to the speaker cover and I may have bricked my watch, because it won't turn on now...😔

How do you tell if the problem is the battery or the main board? What is the difference in symptoms?

Main board will most likely have no power at all even when plugged in. Battery will work but die quick or as not work off of the charger.

@@Joesge I disassembled a sense that wouldn't turn on or charge to clean out slight water corrosion due to the screen lifting. Once reassembled it's turns on and charges but the haptic button and touch screen are not functioning...any ideas or advise on what parts may need replaced?

Hello, thanks for commenting. We usually do not recommend using the smartwatch near water in general. In this case, it is very dependent on how you glue the screen down. No watch is water proof, but water resistant. If the glue holds on the screen then yes, it will be water resistant.

My versa 3 started acting up around Christmas time, non stop vibrating, screen flashing through different apps and this would go on for sometimes 3 to 4 minutes. Since Christmas it's done this about six times and now the screen doesn't light up at all but when I touch the side button I can get a vibration. You can't buy the Versa 3 anymore but I love it, can this watch be fixed?

The screen you are working on has 2 ribbon the screen you advertised has only one ribbon what is the part # for the LCD screen with 2 ribbon

The second, smaller ribbon is the tap to pay function. You can easily remove it from your original screen and put it on new one from our website. It is just held on with a sticker.

@@stevenpwilliams yea i always get a case for the fitbit, with side button!!! In case it falls or hit hard elements! And for battery conservation, i use simple face-watches that use low energy. (Loops fitbit) face-watch is one that uses low energy battery.🙂

I've got a Versa 3 that's been stuck in a boot-loop for weeks. I've tried all of the tricks Fitbit suggested with no help. In short, if it's charged/charging, it's in the boot loop until the battery is gone. Does anyone think opening it and disconnecting the battery would help it factory reset in any way?

what's is the point in switching out the main board or screen when you can just buy a new fitbit for $30-$40 more? how are all the parts combined 3 times more than the watch itself? you guys are robbing anyone that buys from you

So if you need to replace either of those, you're better off just buying a brand new versa 3 for $170 and now you have spare parts from your old one. If anyone is actually buying the screen or main boards then they are not very smart people

@@andrewcompton1876 I feel like it's better to replace the screen instead of the entire watch. The price of one of these devices ranges anywhere between 150 to $1,500 whereas a screen, motherboard, or battery may cost you up to about $40
