FINALLY! i genuinely use OZ racing as my benchmark for wheel companys... Are they as light, are they as well produced, is the customer service as good, do they have the history etc etc. Thats the thing about OZ as much as young kids might be all about roto this or ts that. The fact of the matter is OZ are the benchmark of a GREAT (not just good) wheel company. And unlike a lot of these new companys that start up, when they disappear, OZ will still be around. Still smashing it and still winning championships around the world.

always love to see these videos on how wheel companies get started... as I think I've said before, I have quite a few wheel designs myself - none even remotely produced or patented etc., but they are 3d modeled [by me] w/a CAD program and in theory they could be produced... seeing the history of these companies inspires me to work on some of my more elaborate designs. who knows... maybe one day if it's meant to be... you'll be doing a video on wheels I designed! in the meantime, I'll be looking forward to another informative vid on a successful wheel brand

Yes, thank you for the video! 😍 Since I had the SSR restored too well, I didn't want to use them on the track anymore... so i bought a set of OZ Crono 😅 I'll ad them on your gallery as soon as I'll have the tire mounted on them 💪 Not as lightweight as other wheels but strong, classic five wide spoke design (very similar to what was used on the Celica WRC for tarmac rallies). OZ is a brand quite strong also among the "stance guys": the Futura, which appeares in the video, is a classic. And the new Rally Racing wheel is a nice throwback to the 80's-90's rally races 😀

I work for a wheel repair shop, and although I've seen very few of them break, the OZ superleggeras/ultraleggeras we get in are almost always superbent/ultrabent it's just the nature of their light weight design. they tend not to snap when being bent back into shape, however. I'm just glad you didn't pronounce it "ozzz"

I bought a used set of OZ Opera 2'S, production sticker says manufactured in May 1999, the perceived quality is very high indeed... They used 76 Titanium bolts that come with the OZ logo too, it's more of a jewel than a simple aftermarket wheel...
