My stock honda accord wheels are +15 offset, I installed 30mm spacers at the rear to get the fitment I want and absolutely loving it. So factually, Im running my rear wheels with -15mm offset and I got no problem at all, cornering and high speed on free way everything is absolutely fine. What I think is, adding wheel spacers in the rear for FF cars have less headache than adding to the front. Since the front wheel brake rotor generates the most heat, its best to avoid installing spacers in the front for a daily-heavily-driven-car. And try to maintain stock suspension system for daily drive to better absorb all bumps on the road to reduce stress on the spacers. Alas, best to let a reputable workshop or tireshop to help you with it, torque the bolt n nuts accordingly and add some threadlock to it, double check all bolt and nuts, and you're good to go. Never attempt to install spacers yourself without proper knowledge and experience. One mistake could lead to premature disaster. Let the mech do his job !

Sometimes you can go online and do as much research as you can and order what you're told is the right fitment and still come across something unexpected. My girlfriend has a 2020 WRX premium with the performance package (premium performance comes with 4 pot brembos) and actually went onto fitment industries to order her Avid AV06's in 18/9.5 with a 38mm offset because the fitment calculator and gallery showed that they would fit with no issue. The day they tried to mount them onto her car, the shop said they wouldn't clear the brakes and we needed to order spacers and open lugs for them. I'll say that if it wasn't for spacers we'd be dealing with a completely different situation on trying to get her wheels on her car

I have 18x10.5 rear and 18x9 in the front. I run 1" bolt on spacer in the front to match the rear 10.5 wide. Also with my 98 tacoma, the more you lower the front, the more the hub moves inward. So the 1" spacer evens it out. Hub centric spacers are a must, dont get those universal spacers that wobbles loosely. Dont forget the hubcentric rings as well.

Hey, this was a very good video. Personally I'm having trouble to know which size is right for me. After measuring, both my front wheels have an offset of 22 mm, my left rear wheel has 32 mm and my rear right wheel has 25 mm. Since this is by measuring on the outside part of my fenders, I believe subtracting like 3 mm is a must. So in the end it is 19 mm for front wheels and 29/22 mm for the rear wheels. Now according to these numbers, I could go with four 15 mm spacers. But I am a little bit worried about it, because my fenders go kinda diagonally upwards. So basically I am worried that if I use 15 mm spacers, my wheels might rub on my fenders. So my question is, should I go with 10 mm, 12,5 mm or 15 mm spacers? I want the sportier look but without sacrificing safe driving and fender clearance.
