Stretching is one of the worst things someone with any L4-S1 disc injury should do for the symptoms. The odds are that the tightness and pain you are experiencing are NOT directly related to the disc bulge or herniation itself but are caused by a central nervous system response.
This requires a different approach, but for today, I want to show you the common stretches that you need to STOP doing, and what you will find after stopping is your symptoms begin to fade away.
