Gene, I still like it. I'm waiting a bit longer and to test it against some "certified" scientific equipment to test it's accuracy. Might be a little while as it costs some $s to do that.

Any update to the review? How accurate is it? Looking for multi-user friendly.. i.e., If two people will be using the scale, how easy is it for the scale to save the data to the appropriate profile/user? Does the scale or app need to connect to the internet, or is everything done on your local network / app? For example, is the data stored on the phone, or is there some cloud service involved where if the company goes out of business the scale or app won't work? Been debating whether to get the Etekcity, Withings , Wyze Smart Scale S, Yunmai, ABLEGRID , eufy Smart Scale P2 Pro, Lepulse. Would love to see which one is the most accurate for body fat and bone-mass measurements (compared to gold standards like Dexa scans)

Ben, i've been dragging my feet on that review. I hope to do it in the next couple months so you can see it's accuracy. I use the app on my phone so I'm assuming the data is stored on the "cloud". Not sure if you saw the section in my video which talked about a review from a writer who found it to be pretty accurate...if that helps?

Its not a con that you don't know how accurate it is. That is true with literally every type of measurement device. Even tape measures.

Neville, I disagree. I can see if a tape measure is accurate just by measuring a few things and comparing it to a trusted tape measure. This scale is electronic, complex and has to be tested at a facility that does that sort of thing. That’s not inexpensive and it’s time consuming.

@@FitnessFinance4u that is called calibrating. You don't know if its accurate unless you calibrate it to a known verified value. If you reviewed a car, would you call it a con because you don't know if the speedometer is correct because you'd have to get a complex machine to test it?

For all the people who have a smart scale and apple health. My smart scale only shows 5 health metrics in apple health when the scale gives out 12. Does anyone know why? I think it’s an apple health issue but I’m interested in any opinion here.

The scale is absolutely horrible, the initial values are completely wrong. My body fat was at 24, while i had 12 a week ago on a 3000 Euro Body Scan Scale. The algorithms and scan methods are just not advanced enough for precise measurements. It’s 100 euros and therefore cheap, but expensive when it’s advertised Core features won’t work. Then you just have a 100 Euro scale which does only weighing… wow. Huge scam.

YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR REVIEW. In late 2022, someone at Withings/Health Mate thought the app needed upgrading, and in doing so completely wrecked the functionality. My scales no longer talk to my app, and despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times under instruction from Withings, disassociating, resetting, rebooting it still failed to work. It used to be a good hardware software marriage, now it's ruined. Your review while current and relevant at the time is no longer that way. If I saw your review and then bought the scales, I'd be disappointed in the scales and angry that you failed to mention the pitfalls of the app update.

@Trailblazer82 in a word, no. But I got around some of it by creating another profile, then weighing myself with both profiles and waiting about 10 mins. It's not perfect, and the measurements differ, which is strange as my height and birthday are identical in both profiles. Suffice to say I don't trust these scales at all. You're better off with another brand, in my opinion.
