Thanks for another honest review James, I appreciate it. From watching another KZbinr yesterday, they were showing that the SIM was approximately 25 yards further than the TS3 using a simulator. The club head speed obviously wasn’t shown, just ball speed. It makes you think they are still on the payroll for Taylormade 🤣

i think SIM was the winner, another great video ! also I notice on all your course vlogs you slam your clubs into your bag, be gentle with them and you'll stop marking up the shafts ! show your clubs the love they deserve aha
@richardsdiaz14 жыл бұрын
I’d say the test was too close to call especially considering the length of shaft. It was fun though. It’s interesting how you can arrive at relatively similar results with two clubs that are so different! It seems to me that the biggest difference between them was in the launch angle. Thanks for entertaining us once again, especially under these extraordinary circumstances. Stay safe James!

I played the T3 from the end of 2018 through 2019. It was a very good driver and worked well for me but I switched to the SIM in Feb.. I really like it. It's sound and feel are awesome. I get very consistent shots and it is very forgiving.

Can't believe you got the Exact same TS3 that i have 😀 same shaft and tipped 1 inch, 8.5 head and the same grip even. Tried new ones this year but coulden't get them to preform better. Got some nice speed with it this season. Longest drive so far 303m and average 275-285m. (Usually strait too 😉) LOVE IT 😄 Ps: like your content too very nice. Keep it up !

I currently have a Cobra F8, it has that carbon thud as well. I think i prefer the TS3's sound, to my ear it sounds more powerful. The dull thud of the carbon always makes me think i hit it poorly, maybe it's just me but i'd take a fitted TS3 all day!
@elliott13054 жыл бұрын
I’m sticking with myTS3 driver after trying the Taylormade SIM and Callaway Mavrik, better dispersion and equal in distance.
@andershaukoos4 жыл бұрын
Seems like a slightly higher lofted TS3 would be a winner. Hard to compare distance for fairly consistent strikes when one is a longer shaft

Once heard Tiger Woods say don’t get fitted unless you’re swinging really well and I’ve gone by that rule of thumb ever since.
@briangoodell62084 жыл бұрын
There's a current ad series on youtube for Tiger Woods instructional videos. The first thing he says in one of them is "First of all get fitted" lol. I don't doubt that he said the opposite at one time. Maybe in the video he was even paid to tell people to get fitted. I have no idea. Just thought it was kinda funny.

James James James, any hacker can miss the ball to the right, it's a special hacker that misses the ball to the left, that's what I told myself and others for decades until I put the work and pain into learning to how to hit and trust a fade. Now the only thing that goes left is a left breaking putt, I'm an amateur so take that with a block of salt. James the sound of the Taylormade at impact is sweet, no doubt about it.
@robbiles4 жыл бұрын
SIM always had this. You need to stop slamming those irons in the bag James and you'll save your graphite shafts. Either that or start using iron head covers.

@gearbox18584 жыл бұрын
Lou Torres Mizuno and Cobra don’t sell as it is. They must price themselves lower as they are not true players in the woods market. TM and Callaway outsell Mizuno and Cobra 200 to 1

Shawn Allen So does that make it a better driver? Maybe the fact Rory and lots of top pros use Taylormade drivers has a big impact on sales because of course they are paid by Taylormade. Remember we are not Rory McIlroy get something that is good for you we are not all 🐑 There are probably 200-1 people drive say and Astra or fiesta compared to say a Mercedes s class but that doesn’t mean they are a better car!!!

Geordie Sancaster thanks for that opinion...I don’t recall saying one was better than the other. I was clearly just speaking in why they have different price points and why some must be cheaper based on demand for the item by consumers 🤷♂️
