Now I'm loving cobra due to the gains . Ping G was the most forgiving at the time but the F9 hasn't made me reload yet!! As for looks ? I have the white version and it's a thing of beauty. Great review , feeling better that I can get that 2 extra yards and at £150 quid/ bucks cheaper. with the saving I bought ts2 5 wood ! Win win. Brand loyalty? Not me so long as I can keep gaming Japanese irons I'm happy. Bombs away Matt ! Great work guys, as always!

Another great video. I think the key thing to take away for viewers is that a correctly fit driver will 100% perform as good as anything that comes out. And like mentioned, due to swing changes over time people will see improvements by upgrading to what fits them currently, if it's been 18+ months since the last fit.

I went and tried the F9 driver again this week. I really wanted it to be my driver and match my 3 wood (I love the cobra 3wood.) Unfortunately the f9 just can’t match my g400max numbers for consistency of distance and dispersion. The f9 did have the longest hits- but also the most wild ones as well. The occasional extra gains were not worth it for me. So now I’m going to pull the trigger and buy the g400 max. Going to try a few shafts again with my fitter, but last time it looked like a hazardous yellow 6.0 was working best for me, after we tried a few different options. Thank you for the advice you guys give- really helps to educate so that players can understand more and then have an informed 2 way discussion with fitters- not just taking the first thing they give you and not questioning or double checking. Really do appreciate it.

I had a fitting at Club Champion this week and we did the "blind test" with shafts on my irons. The fitter didn't tell me and I didn't look - just hit. The data ended up telling a very clear story, and ended up going from DG120 S300 and 1 degree up to i95 regular flex 1 degree flat. Was repeatable average differences of about 17 yards and every other stat improved. Part of that is working with a teacher on my swing over the past couple months, but the initial fitting I wasn't as educated on the details (thanks, TXG!) and was more biased on what I thought the right answer would be. Yay, science!

Hey guys, love the content, keep up the great work. I am curious, why is Matt's efficiency so low? Shouldn't a perfect strike on a new driver approach 1.5 smash factor? I swing slightly slower than he does, usually 117-120 clubhead, and I sneak up on 1.5 SF on solid strikes. Is it just how the GCQuad is reading the clubhead speed/ball speed?

Good on Cobra for introducing a lower price point driver that's as good, if not better then Titleist. Seeing as we only ever see price increases from the bigger industry players will hopefully put them on notice. Especially when considering all of this equipment is manufactured overseas for probably $40-$60 dollars a head, and the gains you receive in distance are barely measurable over the last 5-6 years.

I can not seem to hit it at all everything missing right with inconsistent strike and low spin. To me it feels like the shaft is too stiff and not enough head weight? Have you guys tested the effect of using loft sleeves to add or remove loft on performance? I was wondering if I lost any performance putting my 9.5 deg M4 up to 10.5 deg. Seems to me that if you're going to do one driver against another, you'd give each one an equal amount of hits. The previous F9 review Matty had a ball speed in the 184 range which is far cry from the 178 today and his yardage wit the F9 was obscene . Today's ball speed was almost the same at 178ish but 10 yards more in yardage for the F9 , hmmmm. In my mind, the F9 is clearly the winner here. Anyway, love the videos, keep'em coming

I am normally more worried about my bad strikes ( which sad enough still occur regurlarly) then the good ones. How do these clubs handle those and is there anyway for you to compare that? Do they have "weak spots" that kill the speed or trajectory? For example; Do not hit a F9 low toe, or ts3 is a great club except when you tend to hit it high. something like that. Which driver performes best after a lousy strike! keep up te good work!
