I use a hook-up "splitter "on the end of my hook-up cable , one of the cables goes where the hook -up input socket enters the van , the second has a two socket r.c.d protected domestic out let , never had any problems, and can switch to my next vehicle in under 2 minutes

Very good job but you could have saved youself some trouble by pulling the internal cable down like you did run that into the outside socket first then a single cable back up to the bedroom socket without the need to make a larger hole

I am going to put a socket in but I think the better option is on the underneath the van …

It would have been easier to take the back box of the new outlet and hardwire it in your electrics. That would have been easier and save you the extra cost of the 3-way connector.

Do you have a link for the 240v socket. Thanks

Search for "PLS External 13 Amp Socket Box TND 240V Caravan Motorhome Campervan PO139 White" on ebay or search on your web browser for "TND 240V PO139".

Good job. Diy fitting does it void your warranty?
@deasydoesit3 жыл бұрын
I would think so. Ours has run out so it wasn't a concern for us.

It might effect the warranty adjacent ie water ingress, but can’t see how it could effect anything else.
