The main power increase your feeling is from the intercooler, it can now breath faster and much cooler air is getting in the engine. The exhaust won't add much power without a tune.. You should notice it drives smoother and gets to speed quicker even on light throttle, that's due to the intercooler. The stock one is very very restricted. Sounds amazing 👏 well done.

It’s now spinning up in second gear in the dry, which it wasn’t doing before, so there’s deffo some more power there. The standard intercooler looks pants to be fair!

It will be the intercooler making it feel faster. I had the exact same system with a decat and it hardly droned at all, just nice on full chat. It used to spit flames, but not sure if it will with the cat, probably though

The underside of your car looks in really good condition compared to the surface rust on my MK3. It’s funny because when I was watching I was thinking that you should spray a bit of Lanoguard on it and then you mentioned it yourself. I used it on my own car last month and wished I had done it years ago.

Hi mate, thanks! Yea I plan on getting underneath it soon and giving it a good scrub, then finishing it off with the Lanoguard! Unfortunately the underbody protection from factory is pants!

You will get used to the drone.....after 6 years in my rs i don't notice it now but i wouldn't go back to standard. I will say I've lost out on the sweet engine noise for the exhaust 👍

@@CarFocused yeah - my last JCW mini on a stage 2 tune made 15bhp and 40lbft extra with a forge intake, turbo inlet and intercooler. Mad really that bolt on's make such a difference

You are possibly up around 340/50 bhp now Gary. Mine was MP350 + the 3 inch downpipe before i went MR375 . Now thinking about MR420 lol 🤔

Hi mate - you will get some drone at motorway speeds but it’s bearable. I’d say it’s worth it for the extra sound 👌🏻 Get yourself a de res section - easy to swap back if you don’t like it. 👍🏻

Hey mate it already had the 3 inch downpipe and sports cat. This was fitting the cat back section to make it a full turbo back system 👍🏻

U need to put this on the dyno I had mountune and should been 215 pack but when I put on dyno it didn’t make 200hp it made 199hp so make sure u getting the right power bec I was disappointed with mine

Apparent standard clutch is good for up to 400bhp, but this isn’t coming from experience so I can’t be 100% sure. I’d go for the Wagner like mine - the Mountune intercooler wasn’t the most effective.

It might be slightly - but it’s also very easy for the visual to be slightly distorted by a slightly skewed tripod that the camera is on, or if it’s not quite central to the back of the car. The brackets at the rear aren’t original - they were made up after the mongoose came off as with that exhaust it uses different ones, but the previous owner chucked the OE ones away. I have another set of OE brackets to go on but they need a lick of paint. But in reality the tips both look pretty symmetrical.

A standard cooler is garbage. First thing i changed when bought the car is that piece of sh*t. But unfortunately not a top tier thing like a Wagner, just a puma stage 1 PS A carbon deflector is beautiful

@@CarFocused don’t know about 375 map from mountune, if they can set a maximum boost on mid range you will be pleasantly surprised (for 2nd time 😅) with peak torque. If i know right mp350 is a copy of rs500 map, which i used before and there are only 470-480nm of torque on peak. Now i got almost 600 and it really pulls, sometimes spins the wheels on 3rd, always on 2nd
