Fitting a NEW EXHAUST to my 500BHP A45S AMG!

I head up to Cobra Sport with my Stage 2 A45S to have a new catback exhaust fitted! With my car already having the Cobra Sport 200-Cel Sports Cat fitted, it was only right to pair it with one of their catbacks. Sounds good Luke, nice choice, sounds just right IMO. Reminds me of my Edition 30 with a BCS power valve turbo back system, the noise was just perfect. Angry when you wanted it and OEM just cruising for longer runs. Great stuff looking forward to when someone cracks the gearbox on your car as I think that’s when your project will properly take off… literally 😂

Great job again, I have the cobra cat back non res rear box delete so I was anxious to find out what the car sounded like as I will be going stage 2 with the 200 cell cobra sports cat with the guys from est ,although you have opted for the resonated with rear box it doesn’t sound ridiculous so has put me more at ease with how mine may sound 😊 I must admit though even with mine still running the cat it’s still has louder cracks on upshifts and louder pops on deceleration than yours seems to do with the sports cat ? Having said that looking forward to hearing it on your next video when you road test it properly. Excellent video again guys keep up the fantastic work and great channel 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Couldn’t quite afford a new exhaust system for my a45s so opted to get it modified by PCW mods and got basically the same results.

That's probably the best option, pcw The A45s engine is so new, only 3 or 4 years old, who knows what the long-term effects of tuning are on that engine. Brabus stopped offering their engine update due to reliability problems. I am picking mine up soon and i dont think i will bother with engine modifications. New wheels and that eventuri induction kit and the exhaust tweak from pcw will be it.

That is as it should be, if you had a valve on both sides when the valves are closed the car literally wouldn’t be able to breathe.

What is the point having a cat back it sounds so bad and having a car like that needs to be opened up properly that is what the car was made for nor to be quiet if you want a quick car gow and get diesel car or a little car that has no power

@@hampshirephoto no its not. I have had many new exhaust systems on my cars and blue smoke is not normal, I was at cobra only a couple of weeks back with my megane rs 300 for a new system and no blue smoke. Something not right with your car mate.

​@@isingh9670It's most definitely the new exhaust. I don't know the technical terms for it, but there's some stuff inside the new exhaust that needs to get burnt off, which causes the smoke.
