bro our 2024 polo gti is making 448bhp and 458lbft, 8 weeks ago we put a turbo on it for 550bhp but it was not worth it. sure peak power is ridiculous but it's just too far up rpm to be useful on the road. drag racing and doing most of the time above 5500rpm and it's like a small light gtr but it's not as good as it was at 450bhp because I could use every single bhp all the time everywhere but the bigger turbo has to spool and it is only a bit longer and on normal roads just really annoying. it's probably perfect in a place with wide open long empty roads but here in bristol it's not much better than the stock setup. what would be better for you going by my experience is to keep power where it is and fit a quaife atb lsd, uprated anti roll bars and poly bushes for a much better more focused and precise chassis setup and get a more aggressive geometry setup to get the most out the tyres and i find the Goodyear eagle f1 supersport tyres suit the polo gti really well. hope this helps

My GRy has a gt25-660 and 2.1 bar, drenth sequential, Kelford cams/springs etc. it gets through gears a lot quicker than this and smashes to 7500 rpm in 4th with ferocity on A cams, and it pulls on my GT3RS quite easily on the straights. I’ve seen Chris’s car elsewhere running much harder than this so must be the set upon the day or something. A Turbo that big with B or C Cams should be charging to 8500rpm all day (like lamspeeds / Charles car does). That thing doesn’t get going till 5500rpm on a GT-30 frame turbo and revs to over 9k, mental.

Hi guys, Im looking forward to buy a pre-facelift Cupra with DSG, probably a 280, but I do have some questions which I cant find a solution anywhere. Does the DSG version have hill assist or anything like that? (Since it has only manual handbrake) Does all of the pre-facelift cupras have electronic fold in mirrors? Could the rear turn signal be changed to the facelift LED version?a easily? Thanks <3

In all fairness you don’t get much transfer loss in a golf r, the way a haldex system works is it is running front wheel drive pretty much all the time till the front wheels spin then it distributes a split to the rear wheels unlike a Quattro system which is permanent 4wd
