Nice replacement. Sounds better, and I'm sure performance is probably better than your previous one, but I just can't justify paying for a new exhaust when my existing one is in good shape. Will definitely keep top gear in mind for my Cayman one day though.

Fitted the top gear exhaust to my 987.1 and decided to change it back to the standard exhaust 2 weeks later because the drone sound over 60mph just got annoying. Lucky for me the old exhaust was still fine so i just sprayed it with some xht paint in matt grey to protect it a bit longer. Just aqquired a 987.2 so now looking into a new exhaust myself but there are only a few exhaust that don't drone and they are way over a £1000 Nice sound though👍

That's what I wanted hear, and I got the boxster s 2006, won't change exhaust, keeping it nice and quiet but still flying around in paradise! Aloha from Hawaii!

Nice work Will, I admire your can-do attitude when it comes to fixing your car. The new exhaust sounds sweet, did you notice a power increase? I noticed that your roof is still giving you grief. Is that the fix up you tried failing or something else? My mechanic found that my roof straps need replacing and the replacement kit from Porsche is $2600AU not including fitting. Nothing's easy hey? He is trying to source an aftermarket replacement. Keep the videos coming mate.

Thanks Shaun I always like to give something a go. Quite a bit of this video was filmed before i fixed the roof. The repair so far is holding up well. Hopefully ill get some more regular videos out.

Has the scrap guy taken the old exhaust? As I would of had that if it's still there ....

Hey Will - really enjoying the series as i'm looking to join 'the club' with a 987 3.2 similar to yours. Any buying tips? I've seen a few already but most seem a bit ropey!? Also, you didn't happen to purchase this from Binka, did you?

Hi Dave Thanks for watching. i would advise budgeting an extra £450 and getting a pre purchase inspection if buying privatley. I wouldnt have bought mine if i had but i got a bit too excited and bought without thinking it through. Or maybe look a a car from a dealer. I'll try and make a buying guide style video soon based on my own experience.

Hi Jeffrey sorry for not replying sooner. I think this is very similar to the design tec you have fitted as there is a bit of dron but not too bad. It is only ever an issure when the roof is up. When the roof is down it seems to not reverb as much.
