You could 3D model a clip for the EVO 10 clock spring to control those 3 AYC pins, I've got a 3D Printer if you're interested in trailing it.

Hey Kaldek could you please show us how you connected your headunit and all the wiring as i connected my Kenwood headunit but it doesnt have any sound. My legnum had the old 90s cd player/changer.

The simple answer is that you just use adapter cables. First a Mitsubishi-to-ISO adapter, and then the correct ISO-to-Kenwood adapter. We have a brand here in Australia called Aerpro and the Mitsubishi-to-ISO adapter is this one: aerpro.com/app0111

It's just a Kenwood DMZ9720XDS. That's the Australian version; the US/EU product codes are slightly different, and there's also a JVC version of it. www.kenwood.com/au/car/visual_navigation/dmx9720xds/

Any head unit that supports "button detection" just works, but if you need to mimic physical button presses, then my circuit is easily modified to do it.

@@KaldekBoch can you explain more about the cable colors of the evo x steering wheel controls? I wanna learn about the cable connection from the steering to the android headunit. For instance, Red goes to +12V, black to GND so on and so forth. I would really appreciate if you can share with me the circuit diagram(s) of the steering controls. Thank you.

Previously, I have wired Subaru Impreza WRX 2007 steering wheel on my Lancer CK2A, all the buttons worked perfectly. I have modded the existing clockspring wiring to match with the steering connection. I wonder if I can do the same with EVO X steering wheel? I wanna know the cable color codes (evo x steering button controls left and right side) and its respective meaning so it is easier for me to link it to my modded clockspring. For my subaru steering, the horn, illumination and left control and right control all work perfectly.
