Just to explain video at 08:51. The 45/55 is the aspect ratio which is the depth of the sidewall. In other words the aspect ratio which is 45/55 is a percentage of the sidewall sectional height. aspect ratio is worked out using the formula aspect ratio (%) = section height (H) / tyre width (w) x 100 to put that into perspective, say the aspect ratio is 45 and the tyre width is 185 the section height has to be 83.25 or like this section height (83.25) / tyre width (185) x 100 = aspect ratio (45)
