Fitting LED amber strobe lights to a Freelander 2

How did you put the wire from the bonnet into the cabin of the car?

I took it round the door jamb but you can drill through the large grommet behind the battery (below brake fluid on LHD cars). I’ll be doing a video on this soon.

No need, as low current LEDs. Just wired to a switch off the interior light fused 12V.

No, not illegal, but should be used responsibly and in an official capacity such as 4x4 response etc

Couldn't you go to the fuse box behind the glove compartment in the vehicle instead of the battery in the engine compartment ? Otherwise I like your videos and have already learned a lot. :-) Unfortunately I have no 3D printer and no idea of ​​CAD.

Yes, you could go to one of the fuseboxes. You'll need a switch inside the car, so I suggest feeding this from a 12V wire which is already fused. My amber lights take their 12V from the interior light feed, which is fused. My video makes it look like I took a wire straight off the battery but I didn't. The splitter for the front and rear wires is just near the battery to keep it dry and out of the way of the bonnet hinge.
