Cvc do a handbrake lowering bracket for about £25 if it helps. Solves the fouling issue

Thanks Mark. I’m considering getting one, as it will make it much easier

did you ever find a solution to a table. Have you considered a floor mounted table let just to the side of the rear of the handbrake, small coffee table type thing, on a pole... A bit like the table in the Opus camper only smaller..

I haven’t yet. I’m thinking of a removable centre console type thing on the middle seat of rear bench, but not seen anything suitable yet. That’s a good suggestion 👍

Great informative videos, as always. I have a dilemma. I have the same setup under my drivers seat as your good self. If I was to fit the rib swivel does it give more clearance underneath, the seat base on the rails scrapes leisure battery and pushes out the vent pipe. I have fitted my leisure battery a bit further forward than you have etc. Any help appreciated cheers

Thank you. Yes it does raise the height so there is more clearance. Helped me also height wise 👍

This might be too late now but have the same swivel base and I don’t have this problem as long as I pump up the seat height with the lever on the right hand side of the seat. Have you tried this? I just wanted to check before you spend money on lowering the handbrake.

Pumped high it still caught the handbrake, slightly. It’s definitely liveable with though

Our passenger swivel pilot seat's side plastic parts catches on the raised bolts on the swivel device when it turns 180. It's not too bad if done carefully, but it's not something I think really should happen?
@StaycationLifestyle2 жыл бұрын
Yes that does seem to be the way with them all, which is not great. The plastics can be trimmed to prevent it, which seems a lot of hassle to get a neat look

@@StaycationLifestyle Wonder if the bolts can be replaced with flush ones, or whether they can be filled down?

As a fellow short ar*e I’d be interested to know if you find the additional height of the swivel base OK after having used for a couple of months. Many thanks in advance.

No problems at all. It’s been fine. No rattles from it at all now either. First few weeks it was driving me crazy, but it disappears
