I usually use 3/8 or 1/2 drive sockets with studding as a press, it’s amazing how many different o/d’s there are in your socket sets!!

To assemble, go to a precision engineering business and get a Shaft tool made to the correct size and it will all seat correctly and punch together. Job done

I just noticed the burrs in the cassette carrier, I just put a new cassette on my winter bike, and that was the same, in fact the top set of sprockets needed a couple of taps with a mallet to loosen them

Too remove, use an inner bearing puller in the correct size for the inner bore of the bearing

Another tip is to put the bearings in the freezer for a while.they will be a real easy fit then

There’s always a way around it without the right tools, you’ve just gotta improvise......nice one

Just use SKF bearings, you know it makes sense ! (not that my main customer is SKF Oy of Finland)

What`s the symptoms of damaged/used freehub bearings? My rear AR30 wheel started creaking like crazy when pedaling. And for 2 weeks I thought it were my support, swaped the wheel and problem is gone. Bought new hub bearing but not sure in I need freehub bearings too? P.S. What`s the freehub bearings code names?
