This is the first video I've found that directly addresses the fact that the sensor needle is going to stab you. Thanks for not skipping over that fact.

i've watched 3 of these, and this one is the one who actually showed the inside of the grey container. Thanks, because I was about to run back to the pharmacy and ask them what's going on, as it looked like the sensor was not transferred properly to me.

I have been using this sensor for last 1 year now and seen great improvement in my sugar levels..it saves lot of time and energy and is stress free diabetes management

Hey well explained. I'm a part of a diabetic group in India and we all are using FSL Pro sensor for past many years. Your video will help my new group mates who recently started their new sensor. We used to visit our Doctor to get the activation process done but for last few months we're using Blucon Nightrider which activates the Libre Pro sensor and Libre sensor 1 without reader. No NFC based phone required. We can get alarms on HI/LO BG levels and can share the reading with our loved ones.

I am using Freestyle Libre pro sensor with Blucon device in India. Bith products help me a lot for continuous monitoring my glucose values. Also update me every time with alarm when my glucose values go high.

I got to know about Ambrosia's NightRider Blucon and started using it with my libre in place of the libre reader. And my life's changed. I don't have to scan ever and I get alarms whenever my glucose levels are out of range. I can also connect it directly to my Apple watch. Libre sensor and Blucon combo has made managing diabetes easier for me! I recommend!!

Very nice video... I added Ambrosia's Nightrider Blucon a CGM device also on my Libre sensor just to get alarms as I used to get Hypo at late night. Also it connects with my Apple watch without phone. You can also follow you mother's readings on you phone.

Libre sensor is what make us free from the finger pricking but when we talk about readings we have to scan the sensor. After long search I started using Ambrosia's CGM device Blucon to get automatic readings on phone and watch without scanning the sensor. Both combinations make the life more easy to manage my diabetes.

Thank you for the video. I have recently been using a freestyle to and I am very active and sleep on my side and did rub my first one off in my sleep. I have found that if you use the tacky wipe that you can get for these things and a sensor cover my sensor will stay on pretty much no matter what I do and I can shower one or two times a day without it coming off. They’re so expensive. I hope that helps somebody.

Remember you need to scan it straight away and then 60 minutes later it can be scanned for a bg reading 😊
@johansonkemi78903 жыл бұрын
but you can get the reading without scanning the sensor with Ambrosia's Blucon Nightirder. I've been using it over years and satisfied. It gives readings over phone and watch every 5 mins without scanning the sensor. You can share your readings with your 5 loved ones. There is a feature in their app which helps to look after the diebt that how it is affecting our health. It made my life easy to monitor glucose level closely.

Helpful video.. Many thanks. I'm using my Libre sensor with Ambrosia's Nightrider Blucon to get continuous readings on my phone and watch without scanning my sensor. It seems more easy to get readings and alarms with numbers.

Nice video. I've been using Libre sensor for past 2 years but I always miss one thing that is alarm. I used to wake up during mid night because of LO glucose level. Suddenly I've to check with my sensor and with finger prick for double sure. Then I've to eat to come back in normal range but this all could not go long. I read many blogs and watch many videos for the CGM device which gives alarms. For last six month I've been using Blucon with my libre sensor which gives me reading every 5 minutes on my phone and watch without scanning my sensor. Most importantly it gives me alarms whenever my glucose goes out of range. I think this is the best combination. I can share my readings with my caregiver and loved ones.
@deepakmishra97824 жыл бұрын
Hey Jane, seems this is the nice concept. How can I acquire one? Please share more information or their website. I'm also looking for a device which can give readings on my phone as in India our Libre reader just shows the graph. This idea would be great if I could get readings on my phone.

I used my Libre sensor with Blucon. I don't need to scan my sensor even with the libre app. it gives me readings every 5 mins over phone and watch without scanning. My endo also started recommended Blucon to his other patients.
@ayeshamaheshwari17563 жыл бұрын
Is it available in India? I was also looking for the same device where I don't need to do manual scan to get the readings. Kindly share the contact number if you have.

Nice video.. I'm using Libre sensor for past couple of years but always looking for alarms. Libre 2 has alarms but again you have to scan the sensor to get the values. I'm using Nightrider of Ambrosia Systems Inc, USA with my libre sensor which gives me readings and alarms with values without scanning he sensor. My diabetes is well maintained now.

@@RemoteViewr1 I'm also using it. It's a CGM device which connects with phone through their app and gives reading over phone and watch every 5 minutes without scanning the sensor. It gives alarm with numbers even without scanning the sensor. You can also share your readings and generate reports for your physician. For more details you can do live chat with them on www.ambrosiasys.com they are very active on their chats.

My 9 year old does this and says it doesn't really hurt. They're used to quite a bit of pain as type 1 diabetics (or type 2 insulin dependent) because they're always having to prick themselves, give themselves shots, or insert something like this. They're pretty tough!

I heard that Libre sensor gives the average of the last 10 mins and indicates the direction of levels. If that is true, then the reading is not the latest reading that the strip shows but the average. Can anyone confirm this?
@thangamguna41103 жыл бұрын
Libre reads sensor glucose minute by minute. But store in 15mts average. Last 8hrs it is store 32 reading. But manually we can scan and get more than 100 reading with n 8hrs.

It stings a tiny bit a few seconds after application but goes away immediately. You forget that it’s even there. My issue with the product is the inaccuracy of the numbers when tested against the blood glucose meters. I have called Abbott and was asked to report back with some data. One important thing to remember is that the results from the CGM represents the status of your blood glucose 15 minutes ago, so prick your finger first, wait 10-15 minutes and then scan.
