Found your channel just at the right time! I'm going to have to do a top end strip on my Dexta sometime in the next few weeks, because it's very hard to start and I think it's not got good compression.

Hi thank you for your comment I hope you will find the channel useful. It’s unusual for a Dexta to be hard to start but lack of compression could be the cause may be a compression test may help first.

Hi Kev great to see the pistons going in and what a fantastic video again out of interest how come the piston nuts don’t have lock tabs on them is it because they are nut and bolt and not nuts on studs? Looking forward to next one 👌👍👏🤪🔨

Hello. I have a queston about the steering of the dexta. Where do you refill the oil for the steering collom and steering box and another queston where do i find and tune the idle on the super dexta with a simms pump?

Hi Kev! Do You know what is correct torque for counter weigth bolts? Proceeding rigth on this step. Just inspected oil pump clearances, and has to be replaced.

Hi I’m not sure about the torque settings for the counter weights I will have a look for you but I have tried before looking for them. As long as they are tight with the lock tab on them they will be fine. It’s always good to change the oil pump. Thanks for the comment.

Hi, thanks for reply. As You advised on video, I made new lock plates. Have to check is there some general torque recommendation for 11mm bolts.
