Hi Kev and thaks for the video. Waiting my block and crank from the machinshop. Crankshaft will be grinded .010. Weird what you told about problems in grinding. Could there be some surface layer like hard chrome or something in these cranks? Do You happen to know? I was alos thinking to order new shaft, price difference was rather small.

Hi it happens sometimes but with the cost of a Perkins crankshaft why not fit new I will only use Sage crankshafts as the quality is a lot better than others.

I will save about 100€ with grinding, compated to new crank. Lets hope it will be good as new after grinding...
