Fitting wheelspacers, studs and nuts to the POLO! (9n3 GTI POLO)

In this video as the title suggests, I fit some 15mm wheelspacers and also a stud and nut kit also.
The reason for this is that the Porsche 986 brakes dont fit without some spacing of the front wheels.
It also widens the track of the front axle 15mm both sides so 30mm overall which doesn't sound like alot but after test driving the car more grip was noticeable.
Now theres many kits out there ranging in quality etc.

you'll have to get some fairly thick spacers to change from 5x100 to 5x112 5x100 are normal polo size 5x112 is like mk5 mk6 golf etc

Really tempted by Porsche brakes do you know if the fit under the standard 16" wheels with spacers cheers

I believe they will fit under standard 16 inch wheels with spacers but i also know its super tight. I havent had a chance to test fit mine just yet so as soon as that video is up we will both know haha

Doesnt it hurt the studs when you hit the spacers to fit in ? Wouldnt it be better to put the spacers before the studs ?

The spacers are made from aluminium and then studs are made from steel. I believe that there must have been a slight machining error with the spacers so the PCD was slightly out but not enough to be a massive issue, most spacers should just slide right on but i got these for a good deal so cant complain. Ideally yes they should slide on and using a hammer isnt good, but ive fitted things like this most of my life so it was ok in the end
