A.I.D.A. is a robot that trapped Fitz in a virtual reality where he was raised by his power-hungry father and twisted into being evil and manipulated into "falling in love" with the fake persona of "Ophelia" aka Madame Hydra aka A.I.D.A. trying to understand emotions... anyway, A.I.D.A. found a way to give herself a real human body so she could feel human emotions. And now that our Fitz is awake in the real world he has memories of another life that sickens him.
@jeanscott207 жыл бұрын
+Thor Ragnarok Well, basically AIDA is a LMD created by Dr. Radcliffe to help SHIELD but she was corrupted because wanted to have real human emotions *like Dark Phoenix ;)*. Dr. Radcliffe created the Framework for his ex-love that have cancer which actually is the person/body AIDA was built. AIDA knowing Fitz and Dr. Radcliffe work could made her a real human took control of the framework and created a new world in there controled by Madame Hydra given name Ophelia (AIDA) and Fitz (the doctor/the mastermind) was her lover in that world but he had a corrupted personality. Eventually when they all got back to the real world, she was able to have a real body and be a real human but with Inhumans powers that Hydra (her and Fitz) tested in the Inhumans in the other world and she expected to have a life with Fitz like in the other world. The think is that she manipulated him through the whole thing and didn't counted that Fitz's love for Simmons is that huge and eternal! ;P Hope you undestand something! :D Also, everything +ohifonlyx33 just said.
@Xsjr037 жыл бұрын
In short, Fitz has always been with Jemma and AIDA, who was an android, created a fake reality (like the Matrix) in which Fitz was her boyfriend and they were both running things etc. and when he eventually woke up he retained the memories from that life. AIDA then gave herself a real human body and thought Fitz would still be the same as in the Matrix (called Framework here) so when he chose Jemma over her she went ballistic.

@@ohifonlyx33 Technically it was because a part of Fitz deep inside likes to use science in a detached way that hurts people. A part of Fitz does feel a connection to Aida its just not love. Aida obviously tried to force this connection to be love.
@ohifonlyx33 Жыл бұрын
@@RenaldyCalixte that's such a reason of his character tho. Jemma, despite being the outgoing one and the student of biology, was always the one that generally played in the grey morality of scientific ethics, chasing scientific discovery... Fitz was the one always saying "we could but we SHOULDN'T because people would get hurt." Season 4 changes that and its so weird.
@RenaldyCalixte Жыл бұрын
@@ohifonlyx33 Fitz hid that part of himself during the years. That's why I think his absent Father was introduced in Season 4 which retroactively explains his desire to have a male mentor like Ward, then Mack and then Radcliffe in Season 4. How is it that AoS does these dramatic scenes better than the cw?
@francis4yu7 жыл бұрын
MetallicNole i bet CW will reenact something similar next season to attract attention :))
@Xsjr036 жыл бұрын
Because: 1) The CW is full of dramatic scenes which kinda waters down the effect when you are constantly exposed to the same thing. 2) It doesn't really put the characters through characteristically different situations. 3) It comes off as forced, rushed and poorly written. 4) The characters are less relatable. CW characters almost always fall on their knees whenever the least ammount of trouble shows up, they need a pep talk with emotional background music to even consider getting back up and there is almost always no time window present. Personally, i don't really feel any of the CW characters because the writing is so shitty that many of the things they do and the way they act in general feels neither natural nor logically coherent. Examples: A) Barry gave his speed to Zoom with no backup plan and without making any bargain with him. Thats just the most retarded thing to do. B) When they attempted to capture Zoom, they shot him with that wire cable thing and locked his foot on the ground. Then you have an evil speedster held down by A SINGLE CABLE and team Flash doesn't even attempt to knock him out so they can transfer him to a more secure location. C) I don't feel that the team fully communicate with one another. Can't recall the last time we saw Cisco talking with Iris, or Caitlyn talking with Joe etc. They feel very much disconnected and absorbed into their own bubbles. I could go on and on about this, but thats just how i see it.
@barisbal77824 жыл бұрын
because AoS process the character arcs slowly and coherently and keep those arcs in a connection with the main plot. and they do not demand the audience how to think about it. but cw love everything so on the nose. in every episode they write a problem for some character just so at the end of that episode we listen an exposition about how those characters grow on that problem. and they do that because their character arcs can barely be connected with the main story

ohifonlyx33 I know right!? I completely agree, in order for it to be a “breakup” they would have had to be willingly dating each other apposed to Fitz being stolen from Jemma and being thrown into a world where he was the bad guy for the soul purpose that when he got back Aida thought he would be disgusted with himself and choose Aida over Jemma. So yeah, totally normal relationship, obviously.
@julianzabala90104 жыл бұрын
Yeah like even if Fitz had feelings for her in the Framework, it was Aida who programmed them into him, not to mention Aida didn't even have feelings at the time, it was all pretend. It was a one-sided relationship that was forced onto him WHILE he was with the love of his life. Sickening...
@Maya_hee Жыл бұрын
I would argue the feelings were mutual and the relationship was consensual because Fitz wasn't programmed into loving AIDA, she simply entered into his life in the Academy, befriended him and got closer and closer to him to the point he fell in love with her but his actions were his own, he wasn't forced into it.
@mellyq926 ай бұрын
I just realized rewatching it that there's a subtle soundtrack. when she thinks they're talking about their love the music builds in the background only to completely vanish once she realizes he's actually talking about someone else. its funny how often you dont even notice music but it adds so much to a scene! I've watched this scene multiple times without consciously noticing the music but I always felt the jarring change in the atmosphere of the scene.

That's not Aida ABC, nor is she Agnes or Madame Hydra, that's Ophelia. Get your facts right. I really felt sorry for her too, really didn't want her to go crazy, but oh well. Mallory Jansen has been playing with my emotions all season long. Love, Sadness, Rage, Hate and Sympathy, like calm down lady.
@Demaad7 жыл бұрын
TheRizGuy But Ophelia IS Madame Hydra! She was free of her programming in the Framework, so she's the same when she got a body
@TheRizGuy7 жыл бұрын
Even though yes, Madame Hydra was Ophelia in the Framework, she was more AIDA there than anything, sure she was free of her programming in there, but she had no human (or inhuman) emotions to speak of, as Ophelia with a new real body, she does.
@francis4yu7 жыл бұрын
TheRizGuy there was no ophelia or madame hydra There were only AIDA and Agnes, AIDA just made Ophelia and Madame Hydra up
@TheRizGuy7 жыл бұрын
+Francis Yu Yeah, you're right, but to differentiate between the characters Mallory Jansen played, even though all of them were the same person ultimately, even Agnes to an extent. Agnes, the human woman, and her consciousness in the Framework. AIDA, the emotionless, curious android, and its corrupted version after reading the Darkhold. Madame Hydra, the avatar created of the corrupted android within the Framework, who rules the world, naming herself as Ophelia, because AIDA was too analytical. Ophelia, the woman created from the avatar in the Framework by the help of the Darkhold, experiencing new human emotions, having Inhuman powers, who regrets, loves, hurts, hates and rages.

Aw, man... and just when I thought Aida/Ophelia was going to be okay after all. I really was beginning to hope that there was, well... hope for Aida/Ophelia... but I guess not. :(
