AutoHold staying on after vehicle off is a great addition. One less thing to turn ON on each startup. I sometimes forgot to turn it on and realize it at the first traffic light when I stop and then I go again when a remove my foot of the brake :)

Thank you for watching as always, I think there are certain conditions when autohold may not always re-engage, but I’m still trying to understand what they are as I can’t see them in the manual

@@doolanbrian I have had the car for two months and this situation has never happened to me. I am from Poland and I think it does not matter when it comes to the European Union and Great Britain. Auto hold works every time

Smart features like these should become standard for all vehicles. Could you also talk about safety systems built in this tucson such as radar and parking sensors that help you stop safely, abs. Thanks

Like the gear shift - bit like my previous MB E220. More discrete up there, instead of the big panel of buttons on my 2023 SantaFe.

Great review brian as always i would find it hard myself to get the jest of the gears near the wheel maybe santa fe has spoiled us 😊

Some people like the buttons, and some people like the shifter, you have a fine car still that’s for sure!

I've only had it 1 day but notice the front pillars really limit view when turning, I will have to get used to relying on the cameras.

I don't use auto hold, but my EPB comes on automatically when I select park, I've not touched it's button once
@doolanbrianАй бұрын
@@thekiteflyer1 is auto hold switched on from when you initially got the car ??? 🙂
@thekiteflyer1Ай бұрын
@@doolanbrian , I have had auto hold turned on to try it, don't like it, it seems to give a less smooth pull away, so I've turned it off, and when i select park the EPB applies, I don't know if it makes any difference but I'm in England
@doolanbrianАй бұрын
@@thekiteflyer1 Very interesting !! and your car is Hybrid ?? :)
@thekiteflyer1Ай бұрын
@@doolanbrian , I stand corrected, the EPB isn't auto applying without auto hold on, I was getting confused with the Park gear is applied message, up until I got this the other week I've been driving Toyota C-HR for the past 4 years, and on those when you select park, the EPB does engage, without using autohold, guess I'll just have to get used to autohold or apply the EPB using its switch

Why can’t disable the “consider taking a break” bug(it’s not a feature) ??? I have a 2025 Tucson. I’m considering returning it. Do not buy Hyundai until stop forcing you to use these flashing lights and noises that are incredibly distracting!!

@@thundercats87 I think it’s EU regulations for newly designed cars coming into Europe , where are you based ?
@rado85858 күн бұрын
l am in EU , these daylights are part of regulation in EU . As far as I know the regulation has been in place since 201X ,, I had 2017 car and daylights were there as well. - 8 years ago. Side note regarding MHEV - you should first hit the elecktronic brake and then change to Parking mode in order to save the transmition - DCT- on this car
