Do you remember? Do you? DO YOU? Remember watching this scene for the first time. Remember how you weren't expecting any sort of a kiss during the episode because they'd not really had much one-on-one interaction in the previous recent episodes? Remember how you perked up because it was a Fitzsimmons scene but you tried to keep your expectations low so as not to be disappointed? Remember when lo and behold they touching begins and you are freaking out and so thankful for this intimacy. Remember thinking that "AH YES, CUDDLING AND HAND-HOLDING IS ALL WE NEED. THIS IS GREAT STARTING POINT. MAYBE IN AN EPISODE SOON THEY'LL GET TO KISS." and then they're leaning and you can't quite comprehend what's happening. And then, "WAIT. YES. WE HAVE LIP-TO-LIP CONTACT. IT'S HAPPENING. IT'S HAPPENING." And for the next week you were in a daze, so anything after that you probably don't remember.
