Fitzy how do you play Sombra in comp? Its so hard. Love the video 😂

Sombra in comp is my favourite DPS. In my experience it depends on the enemy team. At the start of the round you can usually assassinate opponents pretty quickly and get away, but by halfway through you might have to transition to playing more with your team because the opponents will start clumping and reacting really fast to hacks. Current Sombra can play with her team really effectively. You don't have to Sombra76, you can just like get past Rein shield and help with the damage then duck back into invis and put pressure on the supports before escaping back to your team. The main thing is, once they start looking for you and spinning the moment you hack, you need to start playing more from your team's side of the fight. Then when the chaos of the fight breaks out, you can take advantage and get into their backline again.

I thought sombra hack was literally double duration in OW1 6 seconds at one point. 3 seconds only on an ult isn't exactly long lol... this seems like what is that called the syndrome where the person has been abused so much they think any even minor positive thing is amazing lol.

It's true the silence used to be longer, but you have to consider Sombra as a whole and not just her ult. She's leagues deadlier now than she ever was in OW1, and the game itself is played more aggressively. 3s of silence is enough

All hacks were definitely 6 seconds long, but back then, her spread was a lot higher (almost 30% what it is now, disregarding the fact that the first 6 bullets of her magazine have 0 spread), she didn't have Virus, and EMP didn't do damage. Also, Hack was an 8s cooldown, and Invis was less frequent too because of the 6s cooldown. They're vastly different iterations of the characters despite having more or less the same elements in the kit.

@@penrilfake Correct in other words hack the defining ability of her kit is a shadow of what it once was. Everything else can be balanced however which you want. The fact remains. We see the exact same with Symmetra, her turrets are utter garbage a shadow of what they once were. The balancing has been terrible for both heroes.
